RETURN of the "ABANDONED REVIVAL" 1948 Pontiac Streamliner Deluxe!

On this episode, we get back to the 48 Pontiac Streamliner Deluxe Silver Streak 8! We rebuild the carb, find out we have the wrong kit, put it back together, soak down the cylinders and valves, fix a plug wire, and she barks off just like that! Now she's running good, lets tear all the wiring back out and start getting things ran to the dash. we also start figuring out how we'll install modern Jeep Cherokee brakes onto this old Betty!

I've been hearing rumors

@@route40rust there's a phony ad. It even said it was a joke 🤣 for a prank.. nobody reported that until a week or two later. And said what states right here and they blew it up and showed everybody. So they knew it was that to begin with. GM stated that they're not bringing it back. I want to Pontiac Firebirds currently and I've owned the others. I like Pontiac so hopefully whatever rumors you hear are correct.

So glad to see you back on the ‘48! The flat 8 sounded great! When you get it safe to drive on the highway, what are you going to do with it?

We're not highway people. Ill volunteer for jury duty before traveling willingly on an expressway. What am I gonna do with it? Probably drive it to work everyday

perfect it's as old as I am GM might bring back Pontiac as a brand anything but a Buick will be a plus

I've heard the rumors, as long as they don't bring it back as an all-electric line of cars
