Oh yeah the French fighters are peers to the Germans. I think the Luftwaffe has an edge because of training and perhaps some experience (with some pilots) from Spain and then Poland. Here the edge is German Hqs vs French Hqs if fighters are attached, which I'm sure they are with the Germans....
TRP-War in Europe's AI set to Expert works very well from what I heard. TRP-World's (this game featured) AI in the Pacific isn't completed yet, but its getting closer to finish from what I heard.

I remember playing Fall of France in Europa...we got the D-520's...and we were actually challenging the me-109's for a few turns.

That infantry tech 1 for France came at the last moment. He's going to have a much tougher time now. Wish you had more AA guns though
Yeah..I almost sold that Infantry tech earlier but a hunch told me not too. Yes..more AA would be grand.
