Well I ordered a set on AmericanTrucks and thank god for your video! I have factory LED tail lights so the new product I had to do some research to get to work. No instructions came from American Trucks on how to do this and their customer service reps were useless… again thank you for making this detailed video! Question do the LED backup bulbs your using mess with the rear back up sensors?

I thought I ordered the ones with the 4 rows of LEDs, and smoked black headlight assembly, they offered me a refund, then I could reorder the Phantom black series. I almost did I drove around two days, got so many compliments, the light grew on me, so I decided to keep them. They're awesome! Great video!
I had the same design (different manufacturer) on my black 2015. In my opinion these are the best looking after market tail lamps for Ram that are reasonably priced.

With my black truck they look awesome 😎😎.. I also only had the right hand side light burn out but damn.. I think my truck was assembled on Friday night of a major drinking holiday because a ton of the fasteners weren't clipped right 🤣🤣
I've had the same lights but with a Red lens from Spyder for about 4 years now. The red lens makes the Tron style C-bar and the stop light LED field all glow a much deeper red. I actually prefer a red lens tail light on all my vehicles anyway so they were perfect for my taste.
@@c_losgarage71 You don't, well not easily without taking them apart and destroying the seal, removing the LED board, and replacing it, but finding a replacement is difficult so it'd be easier to replace the entire taillight.
For anyone else looking. These are ACANII, NOT Xtune or Vizmotoz. Just FYI. These look just a bit closer to OEM. I've looked at the differences. lol. ACANII. The clear lenses are the ones in this video. Anyone use Morimoto tails? Also seen a new comapny TwoThreeDesigns that have a 5th gen style that are for 4th gens.
New lights look good and more modern look is nice but the reverse light????? Is that what the testing was about to see what would work better with the new tail lights???? Just got out of Friday live great to hear in contact in AZ and you’ll be able to build what you want and works better for you is heaven sent even though the labor involved!!! My only complaint is that if the LEDs go out you throw both out (chances are you can’t get singles to match) with old housings you just swap bulbs. The squared C look is nice. If it wasn’t everywhere on other brands as OEM (Chevy, Toyota etc) Otherwise looks great. The harness some actually have the adapters wired in for Halogen 3157 bulb style body wired. Cheesy is hard to NOT find. Trying not to look too ricer lol

Always appreciate your videos. My right LED taillight just had a couple of LEDs go out and I'm getting the error message/hyper-blink. Amazon doesn't have the same ones you used though, so I'll have to figure out a different one to use.
Got the Smoked ones in my 17 Black Sport, I know it doesn’t rain there a lot but if you ever get the “error” light with them just use some electric connection grease.
I have the $500+ Morimoto tail lights on my '14 Ram. I've had them for less than a year. Well, 3 days ago the reverse bulb stopped working on one of them and they aren't replaceable so i had to take the whole tail light out and ship it back to Morimoto for a new tail light. Now I have my $75 Amazon tail lights back on my truck and they have never failed me. I'll just have to make a decision when I get my replacement morimoto tail light if I want to put them back on my truck or sell them.
Were those the 'premium' version'?? NOT available now from AMAZON for the factory equipped LED's, i have a 2023 1500 classic 4th generation and it has the optional projector headlights and LED taillights.

They look great! Just curious, have you swapped out the third stop light/cargo light assy for LED? My 2020 1500 Warlock actually has incandescent bulbs. The third light burned out and was giving me a right brake light out error message. Had to do some google searching to find that out. Thanks for the information!

@@graj3da175 I found the taillights for $350 from a salvage yard. Had Retroshop paint and tint them and purchased their wiring harness.
Been running the red model of those for the past 4 or 5 years with no issues, in the salt belt too. Recently tinted them with Lamin-x 🤘

I went with 5th greens on my truck. They look amazing.

i got the spyder Xtune ones that are almost the same except for a blacked out back & tint from CarID & absolutely love them

I bought these in red to kinda have the factory look. I also sprayed some Meguiar's Headlight Coating on them to make them last a little longer
I had these on my 2015 for a couple years. They worked great. I finally bit the bullet and switched to Morimoto's, but this was a great alternative!

With those taillights I think you should replace the Ram logo on the tailgate with the newer RAM letters so you can have [ RAM ]
He would have to change the entire tailgate. The older ones have the center logo pressed into the metal
