If you look at an aerial view the old parachute ride and the twix ride is perfectly lined up with the launch of Kingda Ka. And Green lantern would be an amazing location for a layout extension which is what Kingda should have always had with that wasted momentum at the second half of the hill.
Combined with only three permits being pulled none of which is for the king....
Also if you heard the ride operator for the last public train that night on Kingda Ka, He said it was the last ride of the night....
My hopes are for a layout extension, a twisting spike, triple launch, and an LSM launch.
I'm thinking that the top thrill 2 debacle with Zamperla put that company in a position to say, hey since we botched this roller coaster opening, let's take everything we learned and apply it to King to Ka for 50% off. Or some sort of deal that may disappealing to the new six flags entertainment Corp, and to secure future business with the new giant organization ran by the old cedar Fair execs. Because they close the door on Intenmin and RMC, zamperla doesn't want that to happen so they're sweetening the deal to secure future business with them. What do you think?

Only Intamin can touch Ka as per state law. Apparently.

New Jersey apparently prohibits any other manufacturer from modifying the ride. Cedar Fair and Six Flags before the merger don't seem to call Intamin on their new projects these days. SO that is all up in the air. As for the last day reports, there are so many conflicting reports between the workers at the park and the "feeling" is mostly based upon subjective experiences. The radio station report in the video seems to mostly mirror what was said by coaster influencers. No idea if those groups did their own investigation into this whole debacle. However, with Six Flags' "Project Accelerate" and seemingly continental wide removal of other coasters from other parks, there is a non-zero chance that the rumors are indeed correct. However also keep in mind the there is still no formal paperwork at least uploaded regarding Ka so IMO there could still be a battle BTS with the upper brass and their decision to close the ride permanently. Surely this hysteria might have them change their minds, delay the closing till later, or simply get a replacement ready to lessen the blowback. We shall see soon.

From what I understand is that while cedar fair has held grudges in the past to intamin and rmc, there was an offer they were seriously considering for tt2 from intamin. They ended up not going with them because intamin wanted to remove iron dragon and CP didn’t want to do that. Also I looked into this law everyone keeps bringing up about the ride manufacturer is the only one allowed to modify the ride and from what I have read about this law is that a company needs to go through an approval process before they can touch the ride but this law does not prevent third parties like zamperla for example to come out and to modify it they just need to be approved by the state. By the way I’m not saying Zamperla will get this opportunity though I still think it is a possibility they do. In my mind right now I see intamin coming to add a spike to ka and lsms and extend the layout.

I think the Golden Kingdom is done. I don't see them renaming Ka without some type of change (even though that's exactly what happened with I-305). I also think if they were going to demo it, they would want to do with the other 3 announced demos. If Zu were more reliable I could see them removing everything but the vertical track below the top hat and letting it run on the structure (not unlike the section of Rolling Thunder living under El Toro) and using the rest of the plot plus Lantern ,Twister, and Parachutes plots for a signature new coaster. It would be great if we learned something during IIAPA, but unfortunately there's a good chance we won't know anything until after Holliday in the Park.
