I'm not sure what this comment means? The recording is from the audience. The mix sounds pretty darn good in that context. We don't massive vocal-over mixes. A db or two above the peaks of the snare is reasonable. Some artists sound better mixed slightly vocal under.
@@dcdno_one2393 Sorry for my vaugness - I was commenting that the band has overpowered and overplayed the singer. The drums drown out the vocals. Too much band playing too hard. As the band is there to suppliment the singer, not drown her out... As a guitar player, I play to the singer, not my instrument.
@@danherrick5785 we disagree. You are hearing an off stage mix. The vocals are in the mains and the recording is taken behind the mains (not amplified) so you are hearing the stage volume primarily of the drums. I’m sure in the seating range of the majority of people it is perfect. It’s pretty good from what I hear as it is.
