Heart In Motion is the absolute best album from start to finish.Hats is my favorite song from that album because later that year my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I wore many hats during that period .My go to album .It got me through some really hard times when my faith was tested .

What the hell happened to her voice. She can't sing for the life of her anymore. And i LOVED her voice and this song was one of my favorites. What gives Amy...? Because it can't be father time. Considering their are artists out there that still sound terrific.

She's stunning, however, I had heard through some musician friends of mine that, going way, way back they considered that she was using a vocal technique that would not give her endurance through the years as a singer. That she is 62, and can do this, given what I can hear is a miracle. I don't think she has too many more years of singing professionally left, apart from a second miracle.

A combination of aging, fatigue, injury, and possibly poor technique, could be the culprits for Amy Grant’s voice sounding strained and forced. I don’t intend to sound rude.
