The Judge who issued the warrant, the District Attorney, the Sherrif, and the Officers should all be fired immediately! What an outrage!
This is a very disturbing story. The sheriff, DA, and rich brat should be worried about consequences for their illegal actions.
How any LEO could be involved in this and not be Fired, Prosecuted, and Banned from L.E. is beyond me.
Very rare to see proper investigative journalism in the modern day and age. Props to the news team on this one, the legacy media would do well to be on the side of the people like this for a change.

This is just a disgusting abuse of power through friends in “high” places.
This is where the police need to utilize professional discretion. The fact that they took payments and pursued this tirade against a honest man making a living, goes to show that the police force is diluted and easily bought and not serving the people anymore. Those officers should all be fired and the people that approved the warrants and raid also removed from service.
Just imagine how many people this sheriff did this to that didn't have the same sort of platform as the Fiberglass Freaks owner to get the story picked up by news absolutely disgusting to think about.

How can a COUNTY Sheriff in Ca. legally execute a warrant disregarding the Indiana State and a local countys' laws?
I’m still confused how a county judge can approve a search warrant in a completely different state that his office has no jurisdiction ??????
The sheriff broke the law in several ways: 1. Using public funds for personal projects 2. Trying to enforce the law outside of his legal jurisdiction. 3. Using the court system to suppress or harm the victim maliciously.
How a sheriff from California imagines he has the authority to raid a business in Indiana is beyond me. The hubris is legendary
I am all about supporting law enforcement, but this isn't law enforcement. This is malfeasance from top to bottom. How can they act outside of their jurisdiction, with support in Indiana? Did they lie to local officials? Independent investigation is in order.
This is a scam by the buyer. He misses a payment, get's moved to the back of the line and then get's mad. He's lucky. When I was designing custom yachts for Burger and Palmer Johnson, if you missed a process payment and failed to respond to a letter or email, your contract was closed and whatever you paid for you were given a choice of 10 days to remove from our property or we'd begin collection actions for storage fees. By the way, if it was a simple accounting error or misunderstanding, we'd always work with the client, we were building multimillion dollar yachts. In this case, this sounds like a "poor little rich man", who failed to make his payments on time and thinks the world revolves around him. This complaint certainly seem ridiculous and frivolous. All involved should have civil penalties and charges of misconduct in public office. I'm surprised Indiana has doorknobs like this.
This is a perfect example of what's wrong with our country. Their are two sets of rules / laws. One set if you have money, or friends with authority and one for everyone else.
So... let me get this straight. This dude ordered a car, missed a payment, ignored the seller for like 8 months, and then was pissed he couldn't get his car right away so he had his sherif friend break laws to check it out?!?! This is ridiculous!!

If she has no knowledge of the highly public relationship between the defendant and plaintiff she has no business deciding over the case. She must live under a rock.
