It's a beautiful fragment of history where the man who pioneered the usage of autotune in the industry and the man who tore down the rules of 12 tone music meets. It's like the dance of ice and fire.

The crazy thing is that this wasn't rehearsed. T-Pain set a key and Jacob & the incredible band found it & pulled it off. Insane
Pure, on the spot, magic created.
I mean he performed a popular song so finding the key and progressions is not that hard if you’re a pro musician. You make it sound like they came up with an original on the spot.
@@MisterFoxx I understand what you're saying, but this kind of beautiful spontaneity is rare within live mainstream music nowadays. I think it's important to show appreciation where it's due.

@@WillHanco and let's not forget that Jacob is the glue that holds it all together. The kid's hearing is so dialed in it's just 1 for 1, no doubt, no second guessing, just constantly knowing exactly where he is on the soundscape he is actively generating.

We had issues with the audio files when they were turned in unfortunately. We were running a lot of channels for a one time only festival performance with a 20 minute turnaround. We tried really hard to get it to the best point we could, and this was it. Rob was indeed killing it!
