Boy Oh Boy, what a perfect restoration of this gem of a movie. In fact, I love all of the five movies Connie Francis has starred in. The world's most talented female singer. There will never ever be another Connie Francis. She sings straight from the heart and can also make you cry. Greatest emotional singer that ever lived. Connie, wherever you are dearest girl, we'll love you till death do us part. I have quite a few male fave singers that include: Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, The Platters, Pat Boone, but only one female singer and that our Connie girl.

Johnny Carson made a cameo appearance as himself in the film - and for years after would badmouth it, suggesting the filmmakers stipulated it be filmed with stock made of flammable nitrate. His contempt for the film was such that in 1968, when this was one of 145 titles offered up by MGM to local TV stations under the package umbrella of "MGM/7," his home station back then, WNBC-TV (Channel 4 - the flagship of the NBC network which aired Carson's "Tonight Show" which even then was a moneymaker for them), passed on it and instead it was snapped up by WOR-TV (Channel 9 - which got 70 of the 145 titles in the package, and WNBC 74; the one film neither touched was a Broderick Crawford film that took place in WWII, "Square of Violence").

For my part, I use some of these software but by diverting the normal use a little.. and I have several different methods that I have developed, depending on the quality of the original video..
