On Saturday July 4, early evening, the colours and the intensity of music shed their lights on the beautiful little theatre of Veikou Park, while the melodies of the bands, (Verbal Delirium, Ciccada, Iraklis & Lernaia Hydra, Methexis) that were getting ready for the prog rock night, blended in such harmony with the leafy landscape and the shades of the sky, as the sun went slowly down.
The scene was set, the lights were on, the last sound settings were almost done… and everything foreboded a memorable music experience with four bands that could perfectly perform on music stages and festivals not only in Europe, but also across the globe.
ANTITHESI (Experimental Artistic Scene of ANASA-LEFKA) took the initiative to organize this night and supported the musicians since the first moment.
Creating this festival had been a dream of many years which came true thanks to the persistence and true love of this group for music. A self-promise, a challenge which intended and still does to reconstruct, promote and create the Greek music scene in the framework of collective effort, mutual respect and freedom of expression.
The night started with Verbal Delirium, performing songs not only form their own two CDs, but also covering “Firth of Fifth” by Genesis. The power and harmony of Jargon’s compositions, as well as all the musicians of the band gained the endless applause of the audience.
Following, Ciccada enchanted the audience with the emotional and lyrical compositions performing songs from their two albums.
Later, lraklis a vigorous member of ANTITHESI & his Lernaia Hydra performing old, familiar and loved songs of theirs, in addition to new ones which are going to be included in their upcoming new album. Their sound, earthly, mature and rich, made us travel far away and proved that music can really touch the soul!
Last but not least, Methexis got on stage and excited us with a King Crimson cover. Later, they performed songs from their two CDs ending the night in the best way, with N. Kissonas’ impressive guitar, full of emotion, playing the last notes of this wonderful festival.
The audience (among them many musicians and people relevant to the genre of prog rock music) applauded passionately and excitedly all four bands!
The first step was made and has proved successful.
The objectives have been set anew and ANTITHESI, in cooperation with all those who wish to create something healthy and true in music, will fight in order to accomplish more events like this in the future!

Το Σαββατο στις 4 Ιουλιου, απο νωρις, το ομορφο θεατρακι στο Αλσος Βεΐκου, φωτιστηκε απο τα χρωματα και τη δυναμικη της μουσικης,καθως οι μελωδιες των συγκροτηματων (Verbal Delirium, Ciccada, Iraklis & Lernaia Hydra, Methexis) που προετοιμάζονταν για την prog rock βραδιά,έδεναν τοσο αρμονικα με το καταπρασινο τοπιο και τις αποχρωσεις που επαιρνε σιγα σιγα ο ουρανος με τη δυση του ηλιου.
Η σκηνη ειχε στηθει, τα φωτα ηταν ετοιμα, οι τελευταιες ρυθμισεις στον ηχο επαιρναν τελος....και ολα προμηνυαν μια αξεχαστη μουσικη εμπειρια, με τεσσερα συγκροτηματα που ανετα θα μπορουσαν να σταθουν σε μουσικες σκηνες και φεστιβαλ του ευρωπα'ι'κου και οχι μονο χωρου.
Την πρωτοβουλια και οργανωση γι' αυτη τη βραδια ειχε αναλαβει η ΑΝΤΙΘΕΣΗ (Πειραματικη Καλλιτεχνικη Σκηνη ΑΝΑΣΑ-ΛΕΦΚΑ), που απ την πρωτη στιγμη βρεθηκε στο πλάι των μουσικων.
Η δημιουργια αυτου του φεστιβαλ ηταν ενα ονειρο χρονων που πραγματοποιηθηκε εξαιτιας της επιμονης και της πραγματικης αγαπης της ομαδας για τη μουσικη. Μια εσωτερικη υποσχεση ,ενα στοιχημα που στοχευε και στοχευει στην ανασυγκροτηση, προβολη και δημιουργια της ελληνικης μουσικης σκηνης, κατω απο τη συλλογικη προσπαθεια, τον αμοιβαιο σεβασμο και την ελευθερια της εκφρασης.
Το κοινο (αναμεσα τους παρα πολλοι μουσικοι και ανθρωποι σχετικοι με το ειδος της prog rock μουσικης) χειροκροτησαν με παθος κι ενθουσιασμο και τα τεσσερα σχηματα!!!
Το πρωτο βημα εγινε και στεφθηκε με επιτυχια.
Οι στοχοι τεθηκαν εκ νεου και η ΑΝΤΙΘΕΣΗ, σε συνεργασια με ολους εκεινους που επιθυμουν να στηθει κατι υγιες και αληθινο στο χωρο της μουσικης,θα παλεψει ωστε να πραγματοποιηθουν κι αλλες παρομοιες εκδηλωσεις στο μελλον!!!!!
