Great tutorial! One thing tough, please make sure that your standing foot is viseble as well since it is a good indicator of the turning (or possibly not turning) of the hips. I like to see the standing Foot
@NeroMMA Just a small comment, regarding your bag demo starting at 4:33. My humble opinion is that you shouldn't be pushing the bag, but rather snap kicking it, meaning that the bag should bend and sink (at place) without any swinging motion. The swinging motion suggests teep, which is not the idea as you said earlier in the video.
I started following you on Instagram time ago, and now to see you here is even better. You gave me advices one time by Instagram and I started to follow what you told me, I’m more confident right now thanks to you🙏🏽
As a karate fighter, I want to point out one thing you missed and it's hip movement. If you want to generate more power in mae geri try throwing your hip forward and your upper body backwards.
Appreciate it! However I disagree about the leaning back part. In my experience, leaning back makes you lose power. However turning your hip a bit will add more weight to the kick
NeroMMA yep, exactly, not pushing, but “shoot”. By the way, I do Ashihara-Karate, Kyokushin base + some hook throws and grip, i am sure you’ve heard about it
Appreciate the effort in going through every detail!

Hey man! Look up episode 1! Its about footwork and movement!
NeroMMA love it !!
Hi coach. I don't need to throw my body forward right? Thank you so much for great information!

Isn't it ideal that when the leg is fully extended, it's a straight line from the thigh to the ball of the foot?
I actually prefer when the leg is slightly Bent! For some reason the impact seems more damaging to me.
And how about the kekomi version? :) nice vid!
Thank you! how do you meaan kekomi version?
@@NeroMMA in shotokan we have the geagi version (snap kick) and kekomi (push/thurst/stomp version) is that also in your style?
As my sensei told me “if you do front kick properly your opponent has to fall forward not on his back”
Thats a Good saying! Its supposed to be a knockout strike!

If you use this in sparring you might be apologizing a bit 😬 even done "lightly" the stabbiness can really hurt
Oh yeah when a Mae Geri connects you feel it😂👊
