Bought the 13 Hours 4K and watched it yesterday (again). The sound quality on this movie is really good
Adam finally got a 4k TV. I'm excited. Purchased so many 4k before I got TV. Amazon started having great deals. Love Gladiator Laurence of Arabia, Spartacus, The Shining. All I got to watch so far. Cant wait for the The Ten Commandments

Even 1080 Blu Rays are such a nice step up. The 1080 Jurassic Park I watched was impressive.
I also have the Ten Commandments preordered! I’m so excited to rewatch it in all it’s glory lol

Love & Monsters is a sleeper 4K for me. This movie is a stunner picture quality and audio wise!! A must have!!
Thanks this was a good video and I will buy the missing ones :) Do you have any idea if Paramount will ever do a 4K version for the Star trek movies ( 1 to 11 ) I dont know why its not been done yet. its would be a great collection to buy.

I think it's time to see Annihilation, it's the only one from the list I haven't viewed. And also time to re-watch the rest from this list because I have a new home theater set up.

That movie was so hard to find and even Amazon.ca didn't have it and then came early November 2020 and it seemed to be everywhere. My wife bought it for me as one of many Christmas gifts. I was grabbing it during the Black Friday sales at Cinema 1 for $12.99CAD but she proceeded to take it out of my hand and put it back on the rack. I was going to then grab Tangled 4K UHD blu-ray because it was $9.99CAD but I didn't want to ruin another surprise Christmas gift. She didn't end up getting me Tangled and now it is back up to $54.99CAD at most big box stores in Canada but Best Buy has it for $34.99CAD but it does not have the sleeve. Ghost in the shell is good underrated movie
I think Paramount is hands down the best studio for Atmos. 13 Hours is my favorite Atmos track of all time, followed by A Quiet Place.

good list. but am I the only one that was underwhelmed with Atmos & video from Fallout? it's solid but i expected much more from all the good reviews.

I know you said that SONIC The Hedgehog should have been more vibrant is I believe what you said about that movie but on my 65" LG C9 it's an entirely different story. I believe I won the panel lottery because my C9 seems to be very bright and I have my OLED Light at 80 and Brightness at 40. I could only imagine how bright some of the scenes would be if I raised them higher. Bumblebee would likely be my number 1. These are other two movies that would make my list Rocketman and Star Trek Into Darkness.
I have the same LG C9, it’s not that Sonic was a bad looking disc, I just expected more of a pop color wise.
@@MovieGuy365 I found the colours did pop and that's why I think I won the panel lottery with my C9.

Gladiator has dtsx and not atmos
gladiator - that plane, with the trail no less, not digitally erased, lol. mission impossible 1 and jack ryan movies look quite top-notch. gemini man looks... soapy.. and movie itself makes no sense, AT ALL. hope contact, lethal weapon and ladyhawke will be restored for 4k, from wb.

Dark Fate is better that Terminator 3. I expected to hate it, but it's honestly not that bad.

IMO Paramount is really the worst of the major studios right now. In the 70s they were the best (Godfather, Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, Marathon Man, Once Upon a Time in the West, Ordinary People, Italian Job , etc, etc, etc). And none of those classics are on 4k. (Though I noticed Chinatown is supposedly streaming UHD on Vudu - wonder if anyone has seen that and if that means the classics are coming soon.)
Yup for several other reasons. Viacom/Paramount are notoriously cheap across all aspects of their business (which why CBS has terrible programming)
Along with the fact they and MGM don’t participate in Movies Anywhere.

I very much disliked Annihilation as a movie. It kills all enjoyment I'd get out of the detail and color.
I felt the same. Nice production values and visuals but the story and acting were subpar imho
