Decent parks,some good restaurants and a nice fjord. Shopping is for wealthy tourists, the locals are shy or stand-off'ish,single women are hard to get in contact with unless you're a wealthy handsome dude.The new Munch museum is a hideous building,the barcode skyline is terrible,the whole area looks like a pile of lego-bricks.Don't waste you're time there,head for the Grunerlokka instead! Overall,Oslo is a typical northern capital. Nice for a day or two. Prepare yourself to "break the bank" if you want enjoy the restaurants and nightlife. (a 15 min.taxi-ride might cost you the same as a one way flight to London)
As a full Norwegian descendant I am of course appreciative. But can't the video be processed with further digital stabilization software? It can be fairly jerky and fuzzy at times.
