You have to be the most sweetest and laid back person I've seen on TH-cam lately! Absolutely love the Views of those stunning and serene Cascade mountains!!! You have a new Sub here & looking forward to many more of your amazing Hikes. Thank you for taking us along with you. I absolutely appreciate & enjoyed every moment of this hike!! 😅😂🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
Stunning scenery in this video, I live in central Kentucky n it’s beautiful here with all the hills hollers n streams but Northern Cascades National Park are stunning n most I’ve ever seen of em so thank you for sharing
I've been exactly where you went on this video. I love that bridge @2:53. In the winter it's a very sketchy route. At the overlook...You passed by Cascade Community Club on Cascade River Rd. I raised my family there. It's completely off grid. I went to that place many many times. I liked to ride my dirt bike in the National Forest. Explore the different trails. That's little waterfall @16:33. I spent many moments there smokin a doobie. This time of year is nice because less crowds. The tourists are home for the season. Kia League was a bright young girl at 15 years old. By 16 she was driving and pulled over for having pot in the car. That lead her to commit suicide months later. In her car with the legal paperwork scattered about. She put the rifle to head head and pulled the trigger. He mother had so made her feel her life was over. That Kia ended it over nothing. Her abusive mother who had clinical mental health issues that ran through the family. The lesson is this. Nothing is that big of a deal. Get off your kids backs and support them. WHOMEVER they have become. Stop hating.
The view down the other side of the pass is the Stehekin River Valley. You were about 20 miles from Lake Chelan. the PCT meets up around 15 miles down the Stehekin trail. the trail continues up to Sahale Arm and beyond to the north. Really spectacular country. It also goes over Mt Johannesburg to the south but I never could see where that trail could be located. That is tough country. Very nice hike. Good to get out of there when the weather turns because it can get nasty any time of year.
Ok, you got me with the tripping on shrooms part. I have had some amazing hikes where I really was tripping on shrooms. I highly recommend it. Having said that, thank you for taking me on your walk with you, that was so beautiful. I'm stuck in NYC at the moment working, but Next year I'll be done and I'm planning on doing a solo cross country trip. there's only 3 states I have never been too, WA, OR, AK. From your video, it looks like I'm saving the best for last, so gorgeous.
I have tripped on shrooms and super dose of Kratom together and gone for an epic nature walk i lost track of how far i walked int0 wonderland enjoying all the sights and sounds. Next day i checked my Pedometer with sat gps and it ends up i hiked 25 miles in my back yard.
Love that region. I had to get out and walk one of those old bridges to see the lattice work on the rails, last year. You benefit not matter the auto challenges! So many don't get out and miss out.
A girl who likes to hike is my kind of girl! Absolutely love the North Cascades. We visit twice a yr. June and September I'm hiking a trail somewhere up that mountain
Way back in the '70s I lived in northern Idaho as I went to U of I in Moscow. Everyone kept telling me I had to go to the North Cascades to see it and hike it. Now 50 years later I see your film and it is clearly visible what they were talking about and what I missed. Thank you. Keep up your good work. It's good stuff! 🙂
I have beat my car half to death on the mountain roads and i find it fun except for once being stuck and it was getting dark and cold and very quite . . I felt the need to get myself unstuck as quickly possible and had to return the next day to find some things that fell out of the car . Then i made to my destination and the veiw there was some one there already enjoying the view. They appreciate and were greatful as well to be able to just be there .. Its also in Wa . I know years ago I had been inthe area your in , in this video but I had no clue what had I missed until now . I need to go there sometime . Thanks for the view ...
Hey there, I feel as if you went a short distance further up Salale Arm to the ridge you would have gotten a gorgeous view of Doubtful Lake, but I completely understand your time constraints that was clearly emphasized by the darkness on your drive back to Seattle. As a Washington resident, I am fascinated by all these high elevation glacier lakes. I cannot wait to explore the Mount Hood area this upcoming year and hope to begin my major hiking explorations. For right now locally, I am exploring the southern rim of the Selkirks!
Time restraint I don’t think she has much problem with managing her time or the lack thereof.… After all she had to stop and replace her toothbrush because she dropped it
Sometimes it's so crazy seeing people making videos about places I just casually drive to. I love going to Darrington just to look at White Horse Mountain. Simply gorgeous.
Yeah, it wasn’t much of a video I grew up in this area I grew up on the left-hand side of the United States.… I love how people say it looks like it’s out of Lord of the rings I’m such a prude I take all of it for granted a grew up in it I made sure I knew all about it thank God I appreciate it so many people live in it and don’t have any idea what it is
North Cascades is the best NP in the lower 48 and certainly the most underrated. The combination of scenery and relatively few people make it that great.
I was born and raised in the North Cascades area and Im like Meh.. but when I visit the NPs in Utah my mind is blown.. Im sure it would be a complete 180 if I was raised in Utah..They are all great!
@@drewpknutz1410 One huge difference between the North Cascades (well really all the cascades in Washington as well as the Olympic NP) and any area in Utah (or anything in the rockies for that matter) is the much heavier precipitation but that means the forests will be much thicker, there will be a much heavier snowpack which will lead to more snowclad peaks and more runoff leading to more cascades, waterfalls and roaring rivers. All that IMO lead to huge advantages when it comes to scenery.
Been on a few camping trips up the cascade river valley. The full hike through the pass was always on my list. A person could spend an entire life wandering around Gods country in the late spring to early fall. It gets pretty snowed in the rest of the year. . Definitely bear country. Make big noise hiking up there.also some great berry patches around there. Always be prepared to spend the night even if you are just going day hiking. Stuff happens.
Aminita are amazing mushrooms. Largest tha grew below some Grand Fur trees I had were 18" across! Avalanch snowpack all over those ridges. Nice moderate elivation. BTW clever title 😊
Go get 'em Laura! Thanks for another! In 1970 I did a few trips with one other partner, and one trip with 29 other H.S. Seniors and Juniors like my self. Five days of the two week trek were all above the timberline. Sleeping on a boulder, no tent, next to a glacial lake at 10.5K feet. The memories you've built will keep you absolutely forever! Oh... thanks for being cautious. I've been caught in true "killer" weather. Yep... not a good day, um rather not a good night.
Thanks for the hike. Beautiful views. Very nice for landscape & nature/macro photography. I would probably need a few days & camping supplies to go 8-15 miles if going with camera gear. T-O-S, = Haven't heard anyone use those words in a couple of decades.
Lady, I’m always alone and I work with what I got but thanks for reminding me about how I don’t have access to mushrooms you say you don’t have nothing you know where to get mushrooms from you obviously got something. I’m in my early 20s and I’ve been trying to get my hands on magic mushrooms for years. It’s sickening that everyone else gets to experience them.

Great view of the trail and surrounding areas and less of you in comparison to other hikers I've seen. Some hikers will go through the whole video with the camera in there face as they hike. That's not what I look for. I watch a lot of ( I rather be hiking , Desert drifter and Action adventure twins ). They show so much scenery I can watch it without sound .

Hey! Nice, but I wonder why you don’t make any effort to answer the questions most people are likely to ask. Exactly which trail? What time of year? What elevation? Please tell us which road, which trail head, you know, the pertinent info! Thanks!
You should be very conscious of evil intentions from individuals when out there where you are at the mercy of someone who can overpower you. It is not a joke for any woman by herself to be in such a place where something very bad can happen and all evidence hidden. My intent is not to frighten you but we all KNOW the world is falling apart and so are the moral boundaries of many people who now have ZERO respect for life. It is a dangerous lottery for any female to venture alone anymore. It may even be best to wait for another group to arrive at parking lot and just start hiking somewhat close to them. I pray for your safety and hope that YOU ask JESUS for his protection….. and hopefully you would choose HIM as your savior and KING for all time. All who reject HIS free offer of salvation will receive eternal death…. ( Hell ) GOD BLESS you in your travels.

New sub from Everett, WA
Deceiving title. Good scenery.
I grew up 10 minutes from the entrance to this national park this should be a particularly good video to watch

Catchy title; it certainly got my mind racing! We can't help but be curious; no matter if we like fun guys or not. 🍄

Nature and attention to detail complement each other beautifully and create some of the best pictures and videos.
Rain and darkness and Bears , oh My !!💀🤣🏔️
Those views look like New Zealand. Like straight out of Lord of the Rings. Beautiful. Lucky!
That's amazing..I need that in my life right about now

Nice hike. I will add this to my destinations for 2025.
Laura this hike was one of your best . That canyon was spectacular. That first shroom looked like something from Avatar. Safe Travels ✌️

There are 32 switchbacks getting up to Cascade Pass. One of the most popular hikes in the cascades. Really nice.
I was expecting to see some real Tripping, and I don't mean tripping over a Shroom and falling down the Mountain, but that could be entertaining too.

Not anymore 10 million people. I’m a logger. We’re in the cascades cutting now. 3 years ago this was national park. Not enough space for population.

I bet if I had my camera phone I could take a picture and identify the mushrooms that you saw, pretty crazy huh I wonder if it would work
unfortunately that kind of access isn't usually possible out in the backcountry, but I check when I have signal!

That one flush of white mushrooms with the small red ones looked a lot like oysters. Not really sure
ha! up front personal latte and bagel. Smooth movements.
Never hike alone
Great video. If you're ever on this side of the mountains in Spokane hmu . I'll eat a few caps :)
What got you into backpacking?
How do you find yourself in the mountains on shrooms. I need to fogure this thing out
