Wow I’m amazed how you shared a link to everything you use and made. Great recipe, great video, i actually tried the recipe with my own roller and it actually showed the pattern so well 😊
Very useful tips that I will try out when my Damascus Rose rolling pin comes in from Amazon. For the purposes of a pastel cookie, the light dough was prettier, but I bet both tasted scrumptious! I also like the no icing by using the sprinkles... I will try that. I love lemon shortbread cookies.
After researching It worked better after I brushed olive oil on it before I tried to roll the dough and put more flour in the batter, still not perfect but better. It certainly does not work as easily as it appears on the ads. It takes a lot of patience and experimenting.
Hola soy de Colombia. Me encanto tu tutoría Me gustaría comprarme un rodillo acá no se ven aun. Me podrías decir donde lo puedo conseguir. 🙏🙏cuánto cuesta. Mil gracias por tu atención
Great video. Nice instructions. The only thing I'll add is that the lettering on your website is very light, and hard to read. Otherwise everything is great. Thanks for your tips. Pretty cool that your daughter came up with this.
Awesome recipe !! I’m making mine with holiday stamps ! Any tips on keeping the stamp from sticking? Do you think press into powered sugar or before each stamping ! Please let me know ! Happy Holidays Bella
It's a pity no one responded to your question for so long. It's one of those baking tricks we do in baking shaped buttery cookies. If you put a cold dough inside a hot oven it will retain its shape way better than a warm dough. Warm dough comes out more puffy and out of shape. I use this tricks in making my Gingerbread houses & it works all the time. So the colder the cookie dough prior to baking the better. I mean very cold dough but not frozen. I hope this helps.
I'm not sure. I have not had that problem. You may try adding an small bit of flour to the dough. It may be that there is not a good balance of fat to dry. Hope you try again and it works better!
Having the dough cold was key also. Softer dough works into the cutouts. I was really surprised by how easy it was, so other than cold dough, a well oiled pin the only thing I can think of is if your dough is too wet...not enough flour.
I love your music. It is so relaxing.

Yes I did spray the rolling pan, watched your video before I started. Now I do not know how to clean it, am ready to pitch it
So sorry! Mine really did not stick. I have heard there are better and worse rolling pins. I think it comes down to the depth of cutouts.

Could you explain why you put the cut out cookies in the freezer before baking?

The coldness is paramount to holding onto the impression detail otherwise is disappears.
when I take them out of the oven the engraving is gone what can I do?

Come on! What are the proportions for the recipe?
My dough stuck to the rolling pin very frustrating $45 wasted

Have you sprayed ore brushed oil on the rolling pin? that is very important.
Mine too!!!!! Very frustrating!!!!

@@robinrosen7966 sorry Robin! Be sure that your dough is well chilled before rolling as this helps a lot.
genuine shortbread cookies are made with caster sugar not powdered sugar and you roll them on powdered sugar not flour
You talk too much unnecessarily, but you don't give much information.
Sorry but you talk a lot. We are looking for someone who can give us quick demo.
