It looks beautiful! I must say... Not only do I like your style but I particularly enjoy your commentaries. You explain the thought process so well, working through the details in a way that encourages us to not get caught up in perfection but instead enjoy the process of decorating. Your love for interior design is evident. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
Your porch is beautiful. I have a bench just like yours and I need to paint it. You have inspired me to paint it. Ps tell your husband he did an excellent job on installing the front door!
I 💯% agreed with your statement. I can help my friends with their home decor but overly analytical about my home. It takes me a longer time to complete fixing my home. Love your ideas.
@@SheHoldsDearly it's a little bittersweet that this is the last of this porch. Will you be redoing the porch as close to before as possible or a whole new design?
Your porch videos are my favorite! We have a big project starting this spring replacing old metal carport and also metal patio cover with gabled wood ones so we will have a mess in the front yard and backyard this summer. So looking forward to redecorating after though!
This porch is my favorite of all of your porches because of the colors! Green is Nature’s favorite color. Many gardeners forget that nature has laid down the law that the background shall be green. It provides a quietness and a haven which is so welcoming and peaceful at the same time. Simply beautiful !
Good Morning! Well!! This is so charming . Such a sweet spring look. I love that bench, I’ve been on the search for one. We need to redo our entire front landscaping, so I had hoped to incorporate a bench in the mix. Great inspirations! & the red shoes and coveralls … just adorable!!
Sarah, that bench is beautiful, I love that color. I was just wondering if you get the chance to sit out there and enjoy all your wonderful work. I'm praying you don't find too much trouble when Caleb takes it all back.
Oh Sarah, so pretty, so soft, and so lived in! I was so excited to see you were doing your spring porch because your Christmas porch was my absolute favorite of all times. I wasn't disappointed! Your door looks so nice too. Happy Spring! 💝💝💝
Just this one & our "kitchen porch" get decorated, usually! Then there's a side porch that is in really rough shape, and our back yard "chicken porch" that leads out to where our chickens wander. :)
Sarah, You always look so beautiful doing the many projects, which turn out beautiful 😊 I’m sad about the porch, as I have so enjoyed how you decorated it each season, each year I’ve been following. And this time did not disappoint! I love all of the herbs and lettuce, the urns (❤), the colors, and I esp love that lil celery colored book Ann(e)? gifted you- I’ve seen it often in your decorating, it’s the perfect color! The bench from your daughter is so sweet for $5!!! Great job.. you are the only woman I know that can be so beautiful durning projects! Loved seeing you pull everything together 😊
This is just so beautiful! I love how the bench turned out. Now I'm inspired to paint mine. 🥰 I love your decorating tips. Cute overall with red 👠 ! You always look so classy and beautiful. 🪻🌿🪺🐦
I had a bench just like that, I took it apart and painted the iron black. You may think about that as it would really bring out the color. It's a lovely space.
Decorating my front porch always seems to jump start any season… everything looks quaint and lovely! One suggestion, I always plant my mint in a separate pot as it is very invasive and will take over the other herbs in your beautiful rustic herb garden pot. Also, NEVER plant mint in the ground.. that is, unless your intention is to have a yard full of mint. Now you get to sit on your beautiful porch and enjoy! 😊
It looks beautiful and peaceful. I have a bench like that 😃 you’ve inspired me to redo it! ❤ Thank you for sharing, sounds like a lot of fun projects coming up. 🥰
So elegant and beautiful!! Looks like spring and I love the cabinet and your bench! Your urns with herbs are gorgeous as well!! Have a blessed weekend, Laura 💕
Love the beach re-do! I have never tried fusion paint, only chalk paint. I will have to add that to my list:) Your porch looks Beautiful as ALWAYS! CANT WAIT TO SEE THE PORCH RENOVATIONS. HA
All my favorite colors and textures in one scene! LOVE the new and refreshed bench -- what a find! Wishing you luck with the porch re-do. This one sure has been fun to watch you transform season to season -- no doubt you'll be back to it once this project is complete. I'm wondering too if the plans are to rebuild it similarly or if there will be any changes? The new door shines! Perhaps it ushered in the porch renovation 😊 Thanks for sharing your process and finished look with us! 🤍
Your beautiful display on your front porch would not last five minutes in our West Devon climate of rain and wind! We do get some sunny days, and we treasure them greatly. I do love your style, as it is just my cup of tea, as we say here. I love interior design, and am a pottery painter, so love all things ceramic. Blessings from a sunny day (we are getting about 4 of them, before the rain comes again) in West Devon, England, and from Jilly & Madge the rescue greyhound. xxx
Glad to have you here! Our climate is pretty wet, too - but our roof protects most items well unless the rain comes in sideways - then we bring things inside!
I painted my lower kitchen cabinets with Fusion lichen (limestone upper cabinets) two years ago and the paint has held up beautifully. Wonderful project. The bench is beautiful, but of course I’m a bit partial. 😊🙏
Oh this is too sweet! Do or have you done anything to preserve the cabinet against the elements? I just wonder how being outside affects the wood! Loved how you styled it as well as everything else! Every time I watch your videos I'm always amazed at your talent!
I absolutely love your porch! The egg print from Ikea is great. Do you laminate otems like this before you put it on your front porch? Do the books do OK with wind and rain?
I typically don't laminate prints and items like this because I like a more matte finish. The roof protects things well from the elements, though in really bad weather we just bring in the more delicate items!

Our overhanging roof does a good job protecting most things from the elements, but occasionally we do need to pull things inside or take them into the shop if we're having really bad weather! Thank you for the tips about the porch!

Yes, delightful!
Sarah, adding small pops of blue to complement your door would look stunning.
I was thinking the same! Even blue pillows or flowers.
Thank you for the suggestion!

Your style is so beautiful.

Things would be stolen off my porch here 😂😂😂
Luckily our property is gated, and we have a nice big dog - so that helps!
Beautiful, and so inviting! It looks like a wonderful spot for a morning cup of coffee, or a long chat with a friend.

Your porch is so beautiful! Did you have to do any type of treatment to keep the cabinet outside?
Nope, it's pretty well protected under the overhang of the roof - so we only need to bring it in for really poor weather!
Lightly sand the wood and then wipe down with hemp oil. it looks cool
♥
The bench is beautiful Sarah - your daughters did great!! I couldn't hear, where did you say the metal boxes in your cabinet came from? Your porch is so pretty - and I'm loving the seed packets too! Thanks for sharing 😊♥️

It’s looks very nice, you seem to have a great talent for taking varied elements, bringing them all together to make a beautiful, cohesive whole. Are you really able to leave all those perishable items out in the weather? If I did that they would blow away with the strong winds or be ruined by rain. So pretty, though!
Will you pour another concrete porch or do wood like it was originally? When we had our 1910 house restored, we added a wraparound wood floored porch from salvaged fir flooring. The guys started making the supports totally flat like they would for a deck, then my husband told them they needed to slant the porch down slightly, so the rain would run off, since it was solid and didn’t have spaces in between the boards. Hope that makes sense, just letting you know in case you make it like it originally was.
