man high level duck chess has such a different vibe than crushing noobs at duck chess. instead of a string of funny duckmates it's the most grueling slow builds ever into quacktical mayhem at the end
That second game was crazy. Sure looked like a draw, because the duck can block the pawn's advance on every move. I was thinking "how does Eric think this is a win?" And then Eric captures the opponents king with his king!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! You gotta know your duck chess endings!
Yeah, we already saw that one when Eric began playing duck chess, it was the big question back then, is K+p vs K winning ? Answer is yes, basically when playing from the losing side you either allow yourself in the corner like opponent did or you, at some point, have to use the duck to take away squares from the king but then pawn can advance...
This is so stressful to watch. Just got through Match 2 Game 1 and I have to take a break. It's going to take a week to get through the full video I reckon.
At 1:16.25. did the opponent hang his queen and Eric missed it? It gets hard to follow I am not sure if I saw that correctly. It would have evened the match at 2-2.
I thought this too at first, but duck g5 doesn't win the knight. The opponent can block the rook with the duck, giving the knight time to escape. So white can choose which way the knight escapes, but not trap it. I guess Eric wanted it to escape in that direction.

mate with the duck and king woahh
You can try "good duck to my opponent" instead of "good luck"

the ending of game 2/match 1 was the best part by far
Very serious games.
I can't ducking believe this
I'm exhausted after only watching all of that.
Is there many draws in duck chess?

45:40 Okay, Knights are definitely better than Rooks in this game, like, not even close
16:48 why not duck g5 to win the knight? Duck f4 just forced it to a safe square.

1:16:24 missed free queen?
I just commented on the same position. I should have read the comments first. That would have evened the match at 2-2.
