Curious - at 52:32, what would have happened if you had simply moved QG6? They wouldn't have been able to take the queen because of the Bishop pin. Bg4 could have been blocked with the f pawn. Am I missing something?
So that opening with the grob where black pushes the G pawn twice is an opening trap. GM Igor Smirnoff has a video on it where this person probably learned it. I saw it the other day and tried it and rolled a guy lol
When C5 is played by black try having a goal to play C3 before D4 and you can decide to attack by taking an isolani structure or play defense by giving the isolani to your opponent. A single pawn can be used to destroy your opponent either way and there's also a weird, but funny sacrifice, where you can check with 6 different pieces demonstrating the power of an iosani or single pawn during the middle game. It fails in the demonstration of weaknesses, but it absolutely shreds when you learn what the pawn structures actually are and what pieces you need to keep or take for different pawn structures. I beat a 1400, 1800, and almost beat a 2400 player but I blundered the middle game, and my moves are so bad nobody accuses me of cheating. If there's a worst move sometimes, I think it's the best move that's why I'm a 300. lol

For people wanting to a see stafford gambit, the last game is essentially that but a rare from coming from white. Definitely not a standard way to get there, but the queen knight and bishop attack is how the stafford goes
47:44 I think reason why Bc5 is not nesesarily the best move is that i think white can play Qe2 to stop the smothered mate? And probably white is still in trouble. But at least smothered is not working out anymore due to knight beeing pinned by 2 pieces. And black probably dont want to trade queens so Qe2 limit the options.
IDEA: Create a compilation of games with the same openings. Eg all games with Halloween gambit all games with Scandinavian, Fried Liver etc Would be such a good resource
Same thing happened to me a few days ago my opponent called me a cheater after I trapped and took a few of their piecies and started insulting me in the chat. 😂😂
Okay, so I might sound dumb to many, but I've been struggling to understand why the queen didn't just go for a checkmate at 52:11 . Someone, please help. It's driving me crazy. 🙏
it is normal for them to accuse you, they think they are playing against a normal player but unknowingly they are facing a master and certain moves are incomprehensible at certain levels
It's called the BORG because that's GROB backwards. Against the sicilian i would like to see the delayed alapin or the portsmouth gambit. Both very tricky to play for black if white knows a lot of theory. And as an opening against 1.e4 i would like to see the alekhines defense.
When you first open an account your rating increases or decreases really quickly so I guess he's had to play and lose a number of games before starting the speed run to avoid jumping straight to 700 elo after the first win
16:24 i swear in one of the last rating climb episodes you said the exact same thing in the exact same position . and it was kings gambit and you missed the same idea… crazy
Pretty sure you missed mate at 56:38 with Bd3+. He has to block with the queen or pawn. If he blocks with the pawn you have mate with Qxh6. If he blocks with the queen you take it, then he can either take with the rook which you can take and then he has to block with the pawn leading to make on f7, or he blocks with the pawn leading to Qxh6 mate again.
24:52 I would probably trade immediately. The opponent has chosen such a weird opening, he probably has some idea about how to handle those situations, so trading queens to eliminate potential counter-plays seems good for me

So that opening with the grob where black pushes the G pawn twice is an opening trap. GM Igor Smirnoff has a video on it where this person probably learned it. I saw it the other day and tried it and rolled a guy lol
Ciao Nelson! Can you try against Sicilian defence, the Morra gambit? Thank you!!!
"Analyses insane Bishop sacrifice 28 move Stockfish line". Anyway! This move leads to smothered checkmate. lmao :D
If there's a worst move sometimes, I think it's the best move that's why I'm a 300. lol
He thought you were cooking the rice. Well played.
12:00 & 17:00
And he sacrifices THE ROOK
Please stop quoting that annoying guy...
@@yonishachar1887 Levy isn't annoying:0 he's just not for everyone
@@jadecrystal2486 Which means that he is annoying. In fact, he's the most annoying guy on TH-cam that I skip every video that he took a part of. I'm not alone, almost anyone who cares about quality chess does this.
@@yonishachar1887 which just means he's not for you. He does have quality it's just not Nelson's quality and I'm ok with that because if everyone was like Nelson the game would be boring and personally where Nelson is playing randoms, Levy does subscriber games. Nelson should do subscriber games if he is doing these rating climbs so he doesn't get called on for "cheating" at least his subscriber would know what he's doing
44:26 Qh5+ Destroying Nelson
For Sicilian, you can try out the Ginsberg Gambit. It is very cool and might trick your opponent.
Nelson, can you do the Vienna Gambit in your next rating climb video? I always struggle with the main line and im 680 elo.
For people wanting to a see stafford gambit, the last game is essentially that but a rare from coming from white. Definitely not a standard way to get there, but the queen knight and bishop attack is how the stafford goes
Thanks ❤ this is really insightful
33:10 Bc5 is an attempt to insist in the Stafford. Should still be playable if declined again.
43:42 You have rating of Level 11 Sparky's damage
47:44 I think reason why Bc5 is not nesesarily the best move is that i think white can play Qe2 to stop the smothered mate? And probably white is still in trouble. But at least smothered is not working out anymore due to knight beeing pinned by 2 pieces. And black probably dont want to trade queens so Qe2 limit the options.
Could you play some d4 openings to change things up a bit?
Bro won in life , is an amazing chess teacher, geniune utuber , and dad to a great singer , that song is just what u need in battle.
IDEA: Create a compilation of games with the same openings. Eg all games with Halloween gambit all games with Scandinavian, Fried Liver etc
Would be such a good resource
Same thing happened to me a few days ago my opponent called me a cheater after I trapped and took a few of their piecies and started insulting me in the chat. 😂😂
Problem is that it's not easy to tell apart a cheater from someone who saw some smart move. So I can fully understand them.
Why bishop C5? If you just moved Q to G1 rook has to take and the K to F2?
In the last game..When black plays h6 , white plays Qg6 not Re1. Am I missing something Nelson? Im kinda new to chess ,love your channel
What's your idea if black takes your knight?
@@danielyuan9862 thank you, i guess I'd move my queen
Keep going into the wonderful world of chess bro !
I can't believe you've never seen Bobby Fischer's legendary Madladn G-String from '65.
To think I used to look up to you.
Against a Sicilian can you play the smith mora?
Okay, so I might sound dumb to many, but I've been struggling to understand why the queen didn't just go for a checkmate at 52:11 . Someone, please help. It's driving me crazy. 🙏
because he's in check? Is that what you mean?
Like the other person said to your comment it’s because he was in check had to deal with that first
You have to address your own problems first
it is normal for them to accuse you, they think they are playing against a normal player but unknowingly they are facing a master and certain moves are incomprehensible at certain levels
Would love to see a Smith Morra Gambit against the Sicilian
7:42 that proud daddy smile 😊
It's the cutest thing ever when your 2-year-old starts making sounds in the background.
It's called the BORG because that's GROB backwards.
Against the sicilian i would like to see the delayed alapin or the portsmouth gambit. Both very tricky to play for black if white knows a lot of theory.
And as an opening against 1.e4 i would like to see the alekhines defense.
They need a triple ??? for blundering checkmate in one. the red “??” just isn’t harsh enough. 😂
Why does your account have 16 losses when I look it up?
When you first open an account your rating increases or decreases really quickly so I guess he's had to play and lose a number of games before starting the speed run to avoid jumping straight to 700 elo after the first win
@ that makes sense
16:24 i swear in one of the last rating climb episodes you said the exact same thing in the exact same position . and it was kings gambit and you missed the same idea… crazy
Pretty sure you missed mate at 56:38 with Bd3+. He has to block with the queen or pawn. If he blocks with the pawn you have mate with Qxh6. If he blocks with the queen you take it, then he can either take with the rook which you can take and then he has to block with the pawn leading to make on f7, or he blocks with the pawn leading to Qxh6 mate again.
did you forget about the bishop on C8?
Could you play bishop g5 in this position?
The best chess channel 😅😊
have you played the whales variation? is pretty interesting but also really stupid
Just joined stalemates so I can watch these videos on my Sunday (Australian time 😎)
Welcome!
@@ChessVibesOfficial also Breaking 1500 rules
Could you play the two knights opening against the Sicilian when possible?
What does Rice under the stats?
Great games! And i'm not too surprised when 1300s call him a cheater because he plays not like a 1300. It's just funny 😂
43:31 Weirdest idea ever: Bc5 d3 Qxf2+ Kh1 Qc1+ !! Rxc1 Nf2#
I know hw won't play d3 but if he plays this will happen
The singing in the background is a nice touch
Could you please show how to use Panov's attack or even accelerated Panov's attack against Sicilian
44:45 sac the queen, smothered
you were playing amazing this session
RIght there! 51:40 obviously lookin at the engine!! 🤪
Great video showing me how I should be defeating folks at about my level! Now if I could only slow down and play a calculated game like you do … 🤔
The Aladdin G-String lmao! That one opening, I'm not going to try and pronounce it correctly. I have never seen or heard of it.
24:52 I would probably trade immediately. The opponent has chosen such a weird opening, he probably has some idea about how to handle those situations, so trading queens to eliminate potential counter-plays seems good for me
aka “chickening out”. Sure I would consider the same, but Nelson is an NM and can handle the challenge.
I think we need to be shown the talent in your family , the young singer, okay.
Love the series ❤💪
16:10 such a sexy line
At 42:33 why not Queen to F6 which threatens checkmate, saves the rook, wins a piece and preserves castling rights?
