I remember this from KRO's weekly (Dutch) hard-rock/metal radio show Stampij, presented by Hanneke Kappen. Good times, it laid the foundation for my love for NWOBHM which ignited the thrash/death metal movement.

Appreciate these uploads. Some 40 years later I`m still searching for AIIZ on you tube. So little material, but so much great music. In the late 70s and early 80s I was in the Air Force and stationed in the U.K. Went to so many shows (totally obscure at the time across the US) . Just a great experience. I however never saw AIIZ a big regret to this day. One of NWOBHMs best!

Simon Wright was in this band before his days in AC/DC and stints in Dio, UFO and Black Sabbath.

I can remember drinking in a pub on Higher Hillgate just on the off chance Gary & Dave would be there...also running out of the office where I worked on the A6 when I saw them walking past, just to say hello and get their autographs. Very happy to find these videos

gary owens (bush baby) i really cant beleive what im seeing all over again from 34 years ago , as a 14 year old headbanging at the front pissed on kestral lager, after spending all those evenings sat watching you, dave, karl and cam practice in that tiny room at the youth club or chatting through the window. still got a karl reti signed symbol and one of your plectrums and guitar strings somewhere. Wow ! how are you doing Gary ? what about the other guys ? your brother , karl , cam ??

I always wondered why A-Ii-Z made the choice to release a live album as their debut?.
Vardis also did the same with 100MPH.
Do unreleased studio recordings of the songs on the album exist?
    I'd love to hear that.
    I liked this band.

Noizy Neighbour Funnily enough I read the answer to this earlier today.
The record label (polydor?) were jumping on the NWOBHM bandwagon and signed the band the cheapest way to put out a record was to record a live show and bang it out. Saved studio time.

Can see why they were popular. The whole nwobhm movement had been and gone by the time I'd heard of it in Australia . Surprised the guitarist didn't get snapped up by a name band.

I saw these I think it was either in 1981 supporting maiden on the tour for women in uniform, or support for Saxon 1981 in fact I've just realised that the maiden gig was 1980
