I loved my 08 Altima 2.5 with the cvt. I bought it in 2012 with 111k, drove it to 191k without any problems (kept up with regular maintenance) and sold it to a friend who continues to drive it and loves it! In my opinion, they’re built well, interiors have nicer materials, and even feel a little sporty. The cvt didn’t really bother me. I think I got kinda lucky and feel that mine was a salesman car with lots of highway miles. I still miss that car and only sold it because my wife and I wanted an SUV. Highly recommend that generation of Altimas.
That Altima will be a good car to make content with, We all like watching you fix up regular cars that we all could afford to fix. Yes a C63 is fun to watch once in a while but those are everywhere on youtube. Keep up the great work!
I love your channel watch it all the time. I do believe you have an unhealthy obsession with German cars. They are there and they are cheap for a reason! Keep up the good work!
Who else can say they never miss an Auto Auctions Rebuilds episode? I feel like I watch his episodes more then my OWN!! Haha 😂 Truly love the content Randy you motivate the heck out of me!
The E430 Sport has the AMG sport package body, i.e. front and rear bumpers are about $700 each. The transmission would only have a cap, not a dipstick.
Unbelievable that your Pontiac Aztek Video was three years ago. I think i started watching your Uberman videos before and thought that this rebuilding is really interesting. Anyways, great video, keep up the great work randy!
A guy I use to work with bought an Aztec with all the options including the rear hatch camping tent that was attached to it and I must say it was pretty cool even though everyone thought it was a ugly car.
I like the Altima.. Seems like it shouldn't be to bad of a fix. If you get it cheap enough, even if you had to replace the transmission, wouldn't be a bad buy.
I have that same nissan altima in grey and it's the 2.5. It's been very reliable for the past few years I've had it and I've done all the mechanical work on it myself and it's pretty easy to work on
I know you check your PC so you can make your list of the day and you pick the ones that seem to be the best deal . This list for the first time since I started watching you, not feeling any good vibes on any of them Randy . Stay away from them ! Mustang came out great with the pull me over red color. Can’t wait to see the new and improved ‘Swamp Vette ‘ . Good luck with the new house, very nice 👍 ! Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😁
On the Merc, I have a 2000 E 320 (smaller engine) with ~120 K miles and we just took it on a Ca to Georgia and back trip, no problems. I was going to tell you about the battery under the rear seat and the transmission was a sealed for life (ya right) so the seal cap is missing. It seems that these cars have 1 of 2 lifes. 1 it is well cared for and in great shape and 2 the owner did just the minimum to keep it running and they "need a lot of love" Ours was a 1 family (3 family members) always garaged. Bought 4 years ago with 98K miles on the open used market for $3,500.
I remember watching your first copart flip on the Pontiac a few years ago. I was amazed on how you got such good profit and a wonderful running car for so cheap.
The Silverado look kinda cool without the front bumper, I have never seen that Pontiac I would love to see you bring more strange cars, like uncommon Europeans and other uncommon Americans 😁 Keep up the good work!
I know a lot of people don’t like CVTs but I like them. I think the Altima will make a good car for someone. Replace what ever is leaking on it and set the CVT fluid level and there ya go.
(edited cuz I realized I was mistaken, our 2012 Altima did have CVT) Randy, I'm a loyal Nissan owner and it may very well be a CVT. My husband had a 2012 Altima with a CVT. The trans tube does look the same as mine. My 2013 Pathfinder has a CVT and changing the fluid is a bit of an ordeal. Also, CVT trans fluid is blue. (disclaimer, I could always be wrong..) All that being said, CVTs have a bit of a bad reputation, but I don't think they're the horrendous failure people make them out to be. I actually love the instant power I get from my Pathfinder because I'm not having to wait on it to shift. You get used to the non shifting aspect and when you're cruising down the highway, the RPMs are the same as a normal auto trans. If you get a good one, they're pretty reliable. My Pathfinder has nearly 170,000 miles and it's been a fantastic vehicle. I do most of the regular maintenance myself and it's really easy to work on.. That being said, the CVT does make me nervous because I know they fail without warning and require the entire transmission to be changed out. Just my .02. Keep up the great content! P.S. In my experience, the AC in every Nissan we've owned takes a bit longer than some cars to cool down, but once it does, it works quite nicely.
Once again great job Randy keep pushing that merch! You spent way too much time on a Mercedes you should look at the BMW next to it LOL Altima or Maxima keep up the great work you keep me entertained everyday
Randy didn't tell us how many miles were on the E430 right now but the Auto Check report says back in 2019 it had over 300,000. I will be interested to see how much it sold for if he includes it on Mondays video.
I got that same Nissan Altima my wife drives it it’s actually really nice by the way it’s a cvt transmission I went to check my fluid and I seen nothing I drive it for 15 min check it and the fluid was at the right level so I think you have to drive the car for the fluid to get the right reading I think that’s a steal
I'll tell you what I liked your Aztec I always wanted one just the way they are and the way they run around here they do really well especially when they're all wheel drive in New York cuz you can get them all wheel drive and they do good in the winter but keep up the good work with the videos and a video content and you have a stay safe and have a good night
I was told you can’t buy insurance on a salvage vehicle I live in West Virginia and you can’t get insurance on is this true thank you great job I watch you every day TLJ 1951
Bed on that Silverado is very repairable. At least I did not see any buckles in either quarter. Tailgate, maybe a little pull around the taillight and floor, paint and send.
The best way to identify a in your vehicle is to look for the manufactures logos indicating one, such as Toyota's Synergy Drive, Honda's Multi Matic and Xtronic.
I had a 2002 Mercedes E430 that I maintained very well. Once I hit 230,000, I spent a lot of money every month repairing things. They are nice cars when running, but maintenance is expensive.
Good videos ! I enjoy the walk around but would like to see more of the bitting and winning and fixing side of it ! One again good videos I really enjoy them all !
Hope you are having an awesome day Randy...when can we expect an update on the Caprice? That’s Silverado would be an easy fix. I’d pull the box off and install a custom flat deck turn it into a work truck for someone.
V6 Altimas are good, it's the 2.5 you have to avoid. I'd probably go up to $2,100 on it.
What if I won it for $900?? Details on my Instagram!
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds nice
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds might be a good score. we will see
Totally awesome, money to be made there!

Sane here no regrets at all 😀
Two thumbs up for the E430. That 4.3 liter engine is solid and that W210 body style is a real blast to drive.

Nissan Altima is a CVT. Had one just like all but the color. Great car!
Have owned 2 Altimas. Both were great cars.Would buy another one.

That Silverado is a good one, again new bed and that frame horn can be straightened out pretty easy with a frame shop.
@@houseofno Because im not in Oklahoma dude ;)

I’d be bidding on the Altima. Thanks Randy. Love the content.

Randy looking at the Mercedes-Benz
Pontiac aztek = let me introduce myself
That Altima would be a great addition to the channel Randy‼️
I guess
Get the Altima got mine in 2010 and it has 175,000 miles and only had an exhaust leak at 160k other than that it’s a great car
I have had 2 Altimas. Both were great cars.Would buy another one.
Go for the Altima !
A guy I use to work with bought an Aztec with all the options including the rear hatch camping tent that was attached to it and I must say it was pretty cool even though everyone thought it was a ugly car.
Nissan definitely worth a shot 👍
Yes on the Altima
Thanks for another great Walk around 👍👍
I'd drive that Aztec in a heartbeat.
My cousin had a yellow one years ago.
Thanks for the video, Randy.
Definitely go for the Altima.
I like the Altima.. Seems like it shouldn't be to bad of a fix. If you get it cheap enough, even if you had to replace the transmission, wouldn't be a bad buy.
Get the Altima, could be a home run.
Love the E430 and E55 from those years
Randy, I'd take a chance on the Altima. If it's just a broken line it'd be an easy fix 👍
You are god when i am eating you always upload some video sorry for bad english just want to say thx for fixing my day
Hell yes, i owned one and a very reliable car, buy it fix it clean it and use it as a daily.

@@randyallen7421 oh yeah this past year I charged the cvt transmission filter and I added a cooler. I also changed the fuild to amzoil
Good luck!Hope you get many more miles on your Altima. The only reason we traded ours was to get a Rogue with AWD.
I think I would go for the Altima . Pick it up
Please pick up the Mercedes! I'd love to see that beaut brought back to life!
Go for the Altima !! I had the same one. It was a great car !!!

It was one of the first real cross overs. I liked them
I always liked the Pontiac Aztec! Stay safe Randy!

You should buy the e430, they are pretty fast and nimble for what they are and the m113 Engines are pretty bulletproof.
@ Auto Auction Rebuilds , Go with the Mercedes E430

That's basically all he does!😂😂 that's why we all love his channel
I would take a chance on the Nissan . As long as it is cheap enough
Great video Randy. I’d love to see the Silverado saved w/a new bed, bumper, tires and clean up

Don't neglect your cars and trucks ...clean them.... just bc it's a work truck doesn't mean u let it get nasty
Go for the altima....easy fix..keep up the great work brotha!!!!
Randy buy the Mercedes C430. Sure it would be great content.
That wine is the emission pump on start up and goes away when warmed up

The battery on a W210 Mercedes is under the rear seat. There's some tabs on the front corners of the base of the seat and you just yank it out.
Once again great job Randy keep pushing that merch! You spent way too much time on a Mercedes you should look at the BMW next to it LOL Altima or Maxima keep up the great work you keep me entertained everyday
I have a 2015 chevy Silverado 1500 with a 131,000 miles and it is my work truck but yet is clean because I take care of it I wash it every two days
I'd take a risk on the Nissan! Great content!
Altima is definitely a CVT. This is the first gen of the Altima they put the CVT in.
New camera?..love the quality!!
Get the Pilot next to the Toureg. i didn't think I would like one, until I bought a non runner and put in a motor/trans. I love it.
I always love these Carlos Ghosn era Nissans
Even still, I predict the Aztek will end up at Randy's house when it comes up for sale. How can he not?
It sure does have a CVT. All 2007 and on are CVT's. Make sure you get the extended warranty 🤣
I'm glad you're in a new place!
I love watching your videos

Of course the E430 I had a CLK430 with the same issue it needed a line and a conductor plate excellent car

It's CVT transmission Randy, but not much complains on this generation cars. I think you should go for the maxima...
Nissan seems decent. Im seeing 2015 Altimas for like 5,000$ seems really cheap for such a newer car
Get that Altima.
Get the Mercedes would like to see more content on it.
whens the next swampvette vid?
Great content as always sending love and respect from Boston 💯💖💙🙏🙏
Get the Aztek, they are climbing in value
I think the Nissan Altima’s is worth a punt Randy if you can get it for a decent price
Altima seems like a great simple car definitely will get it cheap too
The altima it's nice and good for the chanel
Please show some TOYOTA
90% of the vehicles I pick up from IAA or Copart that have a lot of damage, the tires are usually bald which is an indication of why they are there
The best way to identify a in your vehicle is to look for the manufactures logos indicating one, such as Toyota's Synergy Drive, Honda's Multi Matic and Xtronic.

This car had over 300,000 back in 2019. Randy didn't say how many miles are on it now but it should be well into the 300 thousands by now.
Bald tires lead to bad crashes. Love the house!!
I say the Silverado and the Nissan is a pretty good deal I would bid on those 2 for sure
