To engage them in landscape mode, you either swipe from the top of the screen orientation, or from the bottom of the device. A set of three buttons (triangle, circle, square) should appear on screen.
You gotta love how meme-y his voice is.
Honestly the way he talks is half the reason I'm here.
Bruh go to western Australia mist if them talk like that, the rest as well but western and QLD mostly
Watch someone be passionate about something is amazingly entertaining. Love your videos, dude
if this has more power than that lovely old wooden chonk, can it finally make a cheap pair of dirty buds let out the smoke?
you know he is Australian when he has a snake in his "recording room" more like snake room with some music and computers
ye i have 7 in my Computer room
he has a poopy snake
I love how even you're up to date on Exynos crappiness
Anyone else notice that he used a lightning to headphone jack adapter on the iPhone 6, which HAS a headphone jack?
It sounds better out of the adapter
RSByt huh, didn’t know that. R u sure tho?
@@pratyushbalaji the adapter has its own DAC.
Muscle memory
He's using the dongle that has a built-in DAC. Tons better.
So glad to see Fiio is still making great products. My 2011 model X3 is still working like a charm with a 128gb card after 5 years of ownership and smashing the glass screen layer by accident lol.
This man made me a snob for high end audio when all I have is a gaming headset
This is so enjoyable to watch, can't belive that more people won't watch videos about dank pods.
Lol dude showed a picture of an OUYA when he mentioned consoles 🤣
He's not wrong lol, but bad example. I mean, just get a tablet with bluetooth and an HDMI out and you've got an OUYA on the go I guess.
Nick Exactly. Any android tablet and Bluetooth game pad can function way better as a gaming rig than OUYA.
However, if retroarch had been more developed at the time, the OUYA could have made a decent (but expensive) emulation machine. But Raspberry Pi is way cheaper and just as capable.
I love the examples of speakers and headphones
I genuinely come to you for audiophile content and oh boy I'm loving it. Keep up the content m8
Mr. Dank, I love your channel, thanks to you I'm now the proud owner of my first two iPods, a first and second-gen na no. Now for the bat-trees... UUUUUGGgghhhh...
I have three different Nanos- the teeny tiny one with no actual controls, a 6th gen, and a 7th gen
My Nanos quit on me a while back, never plugging them in again... They have since been replaced by a 4th-Gen Classic, so it's all good.
i have watched every one of your videos atleast 8 times now, they're always the highlight at the end of my week, thank you for the amazing content you provide to the platform
seeing Dankpods struggle with the android interface is the best bit of the video as someone with almost only an android experience
I just bought a modded 5th gen iPod, thanks for getting back into iPods, mate!
Finally more content, I have been craving this for a very long time. My yearning for aussie-accented tech garble has gone on long enough. I shall indulge in the best 20 minutes of the week. Thank you, Dankus Podsian.
This guy is like a missionary teaching audio appreciation and knowledge and wants you to be converted into an audiophile while being a great friend..
Man, I recently came across your channel and binge watched a lot of your videos! I love that you're so humourous and still provide a useful insight about the tech. You deserve way more subs!!🙏
I'm pretty sure this guy is genetically related to AvE in some way...
Australian AvE.
Just a different commonwealth
@@NoblePineapples AvE is pretty popular in Aus. Know a lot of ppl who watch and so do I.
I love how excited/energetic you are in every video
It’s a very good day when dank pods posts!!
"oh this is sweet should do great with my 6xx's"
*checks price, at 1,299.99 american shillings**
"nevermind"
Gotta pay to play.
There is one thing though that I could argue in favor of this. You buy this, you'll be set for life for pretty much anything audio related.
@@arnox4554 My only worry would be that FIIO seems to have used really cheap eMMC on this and those things wear out really quick. Wouldnt be surprised if the internal memory on this thing gives out relatively quickly. Happens with cheaper phones and laptops all the time.
Eh... I'll stick to my 200€ Walkman
@@arnox4554 Five years, tops. There's way too much software in there that while it COULD be kept up with evolving standards, it won't be.

Did I just get rick rolled by your pfp?
@@durvesh8579 for what it's worth, yes
I can hear that pfp
7:40 I don’t know why he did, but he put a headphone dongle on an iPhone 6, which has a headphone jack...
I plugged the USB-C headphone dongle that came with my Ideapad Duet into my G7 Power for a laugh. it didn't work.
@@IanC14 maybe you have to enable audio routing via USB through the developer options?
@@lillexus5589 USB audio routing is on by default in Dev. Options maybe the phone doesn't support it.
Was about to comment this but scrolled down lol
Iirc the official apple dongle is has a very good DAC and is better than the iPhone 6 built in?
I just learned soooooo very much about audio in one video then I have in 33 years of living...thanks ol boy
Y'know, another tech channel called Shortcircuit reviewed it a 3 weeks back. and called it a BASIC IPOD. Truly an insult. Nice video btw.
“You could plug them into your mums shuffle” my mum actually has that 😂
I still have the 1gig shuffle, the silver version of that and it still works XD.
Course, it's been retired by a Fiio m3k now so it doesn't get used... at all anymore...
This dude is the scotthewoz of music. As in he could talk about anything and we will all still be interested
I'm not even an audiophile but I've never wanted something more
Man, I was sitting here watching all your old videos waiting for this
me too
yup
SAMMEEEE MANNNN
I’ve been watching your channel ever since the raycons video and I’ve found your advice really useful overall since I’ve been exposed to other really great brands I normally wouldn’t expose myself to. I was wondering if you could make a video about budget music players in a similar fashion to the budget headphones video? Keep up the great work and cheers mate.
Man I wish I had your audio setup
I like how passionate you sound, it shows that even if the videos arent the best quality they are still good. LIKE I MEAN even though i dont understand shit when it comes to music stuff i still find your vids entertaining, which for me means that the videos are good
I'd argue that some speakers can sound more detailed than most headphones in a well treated room. Since I got my Barefoot monitors I realized I can hear subtle distortion and phase issues much better on them than any cans I've tried, mostly because you get much more of a stereo image than with two drivers facing directly down your earholes with no crosstalk :D
when i use my dedicated audio players i say "gonna hit em with the DAC n FLAC"
0:09 Love that pizza box PC what a MASTERPIECE. The creator didn't even use a new box, it still has authentic grease stains on the bottom, man that picture got me.
As a musician and starting producer this channel is really getting me into sound engineering and sound acoustics
“ alright it’s tolerable “ pretty much me, with anything going on in my day.
How iPhone fans thinks how android phones are: Fiio M15 interface lagging.
Android phones are not bad like this, it's SO MUCH better nowadays
Good point
And talking about the exynos and HIS 0.1% DIFFERENCE OVER THE COMPENTITORS 😱🤣
(Sorry for my bad english)
They were Always better. I mean if u like worse specs and a closed down OS, then apple is the right choice.
@@pascal6490
It's "worse" because Apple has full control over all the hardware inside, so they can optimize it very, very well. This means that they're actually very comparable to Android phones (and sometimes even faster). But don't take my word for it:
www.androidauthority.com/apple-iphone-12-vs-oneplus-8t-1179212/
As for the "closed down OS", if you're not tinkering around with it and messing with the filesystem then you shouldn't really care. I like to do just that, which is why I, when I finally got the money to do so, went from an iPhone6/iPod Touch to a Zenfone 6. But some don't and just let the software guys at Apple handle that for them, so it shouldn't matter to them. As long as you can do whatever it is you need to do then you don't need the complexity and flexibility Android offers.
*EDIT:* Spelling and such.
@@jamescruz8678 You cant Install things Like APK's, the specs are bad, i mean they Run good but for that price, its really Bad. And the Computers cost 2 times as much as they are worth
