My husband and I went to Culloden last month. He'd never been and I went 20 years ago not long after I'd read the books. The Fraser clanstone was there among all the others but this time, 20 years later, the Fraser name has been partially worn out because I suppose people touching it, there's also now a little fence around it because people were sitting on it, having picnics on it... the whole site is a war grave for goodness sake, why can they not have some respect.
I always wondered about that. I get the wanting to touch and maybe a picture , but selfie 🤳 ? Nope not with a memorial of any kind. And sitting or standing on one. (Only if it’s made to sit on like a bench)
I was there in the ‘60s. It was still a wild place then. They ‘did it up’ some years later and it became a tourist attraction. Now because of Outlander it’s become more so. The day I was there I was virtually alone. It was cold a misty. I could feel my Scottish ancestors all around me. The hairs were standing up on the back of my neck for some time after.
As a Scot I found it a hard place to visit. I am descended from Robertsons, Gordons, McGregors, and so many others. It's old bloodlines but they have given my strength to fight my my own particular battles - thank you.
A very moving scene in Outlander! So memorable! Everyone who knows the show and what will happen still cannot help but feel the sadness and emotion that Claire felt! It breaks my heart every time because we truly know how much they loved each other🤍💙😢🏴

no, he didn't die. they were separated by time and circumstance for years; when she found out that he survived, she goes into the past to find him....and the saga continues
I want to say I lost my hubby that this 13 th of Nov. We were high school sweethearts from age of sixteen. Our daughter is nonverbal n Autistic. Just an old fashioned girl wow wants to be included. Would love that the 10th can concluded as the final would be right. And if Diana believes in reincarnation eh may be adle to travel write away and say a confli😢 but just a thought to though out there are. Thanks for listening.
Is Jamie dead or alive?
This was before she knew he survived Culloden
Both, like Schrödinger’s cat
who are these people and why is she visiting for the last time
@@greekrehave you never read the outlander series then
@@nickislade5533 no, is she dying?

Aye indeed!
Because people are idiots!
Because they can't tell reality from fiction in regards to the show. A Forsyth is in the mixed clan grave.

It's from season 2 guys. When she came back to have Brianna. She is telling him about her. He didnt die at Culloden
Phew! 😅
Going to miss the bunch of them❤️
This was so heartbreaking 😭
We know it's an old episode but it's nice to see it again.
Misleading title, that’s not Jamie’s grave, it’s the Fraser stone at Culloden.
It's what Claire believed to be Jamie's grave at that time.
@ Oh duh, like I didn’t know that! The title is misleading is what I said!
They thought he died but he escaped. Claire found him years ago later bnb in Edinburgh. He was a printer
Spoiler alert for someone who hasn’t seen it
I went to Culloden and saw the battlefield. This was long before this series. I wondered at the huge horror of that badly chosen battlefield.
This is a beautiful clip from earlier Outlander… so heart wrenching…❤
I seen this movie and I love it. The scene was so sad. Can’t wait to see the second part.
Its a tv show
But it’s time to see the rest of it !!!!
“I SEEN?” Where’d you go to school?

My dad use to tell me about Scottish history and we are MacGregors.
A heartbreaking scene
Loved this movie/series
Who hasn’t seen this stars hello it’s old
So where can you watch the rest of the episodes...
Seasons 1-5 are on Netflix. Starz has the rest.
@Christy__M i don't have Starz. Rats
Star
Starz
Showing my age but the time i went there most of the ground was covered in trees and you had to pick your way and i think a very small tourist hut
This was 4 seasons ago.. she found jamie
I think think is old because she is telling him about their daughter
Caitriona is such a beautiful woman.
I think Kerry Russell would have been better as Claire.
C'est une scène dure et triste😢 Claire avait besoin de se rendre sur le site et être en paix
Well he will!!
When are they going to address the man standing outside her window? It was obviously Jaime
The author has said she’ll address it in the last book of the series
What exactly is this show about? Time travel?
Yes.
Was that a new video?
It's the season finale from season 2. There are 4 seasons (I think) after that.
Thanks for the spoiler I'm only on season 3
This clip is from season 2 lol
He died?!? 😢
@@jennmck does he ever really die? Also this is hundreds of years later….
At that stage, she still thought Jamie had been killed at Culloden. This is the clan stone at Culloden Moor.
This is before she goes back in season 3. Technically in time he is dead but she does see him again in her lifetime.
no, he didn't die. they were separated by time and circumstance for years; when she found out that he survived, she goes into the past to find him....and the saga continues
There's a certain element in the States that are trying to ban books. Outlander is on the list, as is Emma, 1984 and others.
Nonsense
Of course 1984 is on the list. You're living it.

Spoiler alert
Wtf way to spoil the series thanks googol news
It's from seasons ago. Old and only spoilers if you are still watching through the seasons
Wow... celebration of single motherhood. Ugh.
Not true…she raised Brianna with her first husband.
Read the books🤷♀️.
Not a single parent
Boring!!!!!!
