Does anyone know how the Timeless fence posts last compared to fiberglass posts? Which is best for standing up to the sun and weed trimmers? I would think that PVC would degrade in the sun faster than the fiberglass but I don't know if the coating on the Timeless posts hold up as well as fiberglass.
Check the website, this is not pvc. They also will send you a sample of short strips. It is made of recycled window frames. A short piece of H post feels like a rock. By the way I have used pvc for as many as 20 years.
If you are concerned with putting posts in swales and having them pull out with the tension of the wire, you just drive a short post next to the post in the swale on a 45 deg angle untill it is only sticking out of the ground 4 inches or so, then run a thick wire through both posts and twist tie it tight; that post will never pull out
And if you have a post on the top of a high spot or hill, the post may bend to one side under the tension of the wire. You just have someone pull the post straight (they are very flexible) while you wrap a piece of soft 14 or 12.5 gauge wire around the too wire on side of the post, then pull your tie wire tight around the post and finnish wrapping around the fence wire on the other side of the post. Then the post will stay straight for ever
If you have rocky or hard pan clay soils, you definitely want to go with the 1.5". Goes in so easy!

@@MandMgothe website says “Rigid PVC Posts.” They say they are made from recycled vinyl window frames. PVC is poly vinyl chloride.
What temperature will they melt at? I’m in an area that’s prone to grass fires (controlled/uncontrolled)
probably the same temp as vinyl if you look it up
@@AnxiousCowboy no vinyl and PVC are 2 different material s
@@treetop5752 I see it says PVC post. For some reason I thought Timeless was recycled vinyl
@@AnxiousCowboy PVC I think stands for poly vinyl chloride
Sir, can you show how Timeless fence system handle going up and down hills. Thank you
