Awesome tips
Nice video! What are the specs on the wire you’re using?
Excellent video. I’m using your 1.5” T-Posts and really like them. Two questions: How far apart did you set your posts in this video? How did you set your end posts?
The post I used were 4' X 1.5'' set on 30 foot centers. For the end post I used the Timeless Fence H-post. These post were put in the ground 30" with one bag of quikrete then back filled with soil material. The H-post were out of plumb one bubble so when I tensioned the wire the H-post still sloped away from the pull. Another section I used the H-post and put a short kicker at a 45 degree angle like a floating brace.
Michael McElroy thank you!
Why cut in the middle? Use the gripple on one end to tighten the fence.
You didn't need braces at the ends and you are using all H-posts, what kind of fence is this?
Thanks for asking about Timeless Fence Bryan. The fence is not all H-posts. There are only H-posts at the end where Mike is installing a spring gate. This was mainly for demonstration purposes on how to get a straight fence line.
Cut the wire in the center and then re-thread it I’ve been doing it the hard way for years The ratchet in the center 🤦🏻♂️
