I grew up in Tularosa. Graduated high school in 1989 and 5 years later I got on with Tularosa Police Dept. I left in 2006 and have been all over the place, but have been back in Alamogordo for the last 8 years. Not leaving again. Lol! Tularosa is awesome and so are the people. Lots of friends there.
Those are not oak trees. They're cottonwoods that came up after the irrigation system was put in. The big one you pointed out fell and crushed the corner of the rectory building in summer 2024. What was left of it was cut down to the stump.
