wonderful! 5players are excellent . beautiful and clear sound then perfect technique. Their music make me happy. of course I like Mozart. I like Cosi overture as well as Figaro overture.
This was nice to listen too to start off my day. A Mozart Quintet, and played by my favorite horn player. Very Enjoyable.

Cosi was the first opera I Sang iperformance. College days in1976. I loved this performahce.

I saw him in Salzburg a few years ago at a performance and totally geeked out like *aaah that's Andreas Blau!* :D Any chance of him guesting until you have confirmed the new principal flute? So looking forward to seeing you guys in Berlin with Petrenko and Schiff in a week :D

@@eisenaechery7591 oh wow I had not heard, that’s too bad! Certainly would be cool to see Blau back to substitute in the interim though!
Reality Check: Blau is from an antiquated school of flute playing (too direct with little imagination or flexibility). The great players don't play like that anymore. And almost no one out there can compare with Pahud or Dufour (they have many clones, but they aren't authentic). It's already a major loss for the Berlin Phil that Dufour is leaving. Let's hope Pahud doesn't leave any time soon.

I guess it's the oboe player. Watch, for example, just the end. The small circle he makes with the instrument signals the end.
