  • 🇮🇳 India is famous for its vegetarian food, and I'd go so far as to say it's the best in the world. So after having that heavy chicken fry in the afternoon, I had to try a veg thali for dinner. On Google Maps, I found this dhaba called "Baba Da Dhaba" and the incredible food and hospitality definitely lived up to the review. Enjoy!

If you randomly land up at any place , their is risk and you can expect random responses... So only suggestion would be to do some minimal prior research...India is a huge and diverse country , in few days time you can just expect to not even scratch the surface...best wishes and enjoy ur stay , be safe and aware...

while in india You can visit Kailasa Temple in Ellora Caves at Aurangabad . It's considered greatest architecture in history of mankind , because the way it was built seems unbelievable for even today’s time . The temple was built 1300 years ago . It’s carved out of a mammoth stone/mountain . The Kailasa Temple is notable for its vertical excavation-carvers started at the top of the original rock and excavated downward . At least 400000 tonnes of stones have been removed in the process . About 7000 workers and their future generations worked for 135 years. One small mistake and you have to rebuild the whole temple because it's carved into the rock , that too up to down.
kailasa temple has a vast underground city which even more mysterious and government have totally locked down and no researchers are allowed to go inside.
During the reign of Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, the temple was ordered to be demolished along with other Hindu temples nationwide.
For the task in 1682 he sent over 1000 labourers especially to destroy Kailasa Temple; they worked for over 3 years, but could barely manage to disfigure a few statues here and there. It's the solid granite rock that's made so hard to destroy .
Despite of his repeated efforts to tear down Kailasa Temple, Aurangzeb did not found success . Finally he gave up on destroying this temple . This is the same man who has destroyed thousands of ancient temples in India but he could not destroy this one so you can understand the The magnanimity of the temple .

At 7:26, he said "भारतीय खाना शुद्ध वैश्णो" which means Indian food is pure vegetarian. Vaishno is a Hindu standard of diet similar to Jewish Kosher and Muslim halal except no meat! If any dhaba reads Shudh Vaishno it means you wont get any non-vegetarian fare! 😐

I hope your planning on a trip to Varanasi-it’s one of the street food capitals of India. Banaras chaat dude. Check out Visa2Explore channel if you haven’t already. Amritsar for the best chole (chick p/garbanzo) in the world. Kathi rolls in Kolkata. If you’re in Mumbai you’ll need pav vada & bhaji in your life -and try to get to Britannia for some classic Irani food.

Don't say ' salan ' ,the proper word to use in India is ' tari '. It's the Indian equivalent of gravy.

After reading comments by Pakistani friends in the Indian series, I realised that they are so full of themselves. They have never visited India, never met people here but saying they are better.... Seriously shameful. Can we not drag Chris into this. It's perfectly fine to like a country and not like a country, but you can't say we are the best when you hace not seen even 1 percent of India ....Chris, it's completely ok if you don't like anything...We Indian will preffer your honest reviews. 👍

In its authentic form shahi paneer is cashew and cream based, it is slight sweet, usually white gravy because turmeric is not used.
Kadhai paneer is tomato based gravy, can go from mild to very spicy

kadhai paneer is on spicier side tossed with onion and capsicum and has flavour of coriander. Shahi paneer is sweeter cremier gravy item made with cashew paste, tomato purie, and sauted with fresh cream.
