For those who think its fake, think twice...They add all realistic super effects after they have chosen scenes that will be in actual movie...This is real deleted scene :P
If people question whether it is a fake deleted scene, smh, don't they realize it was never in the movie - hence deleted scene. LMAO some people are just clueless.
It's not terrible, it's basic, you realize the CGI in action sci-fi is like half the budget and more than a third of the production time, right? (Yes I am pulling these numbers out of my ass, but I'm sure it's still pretty close)
@@alexsolimani I actually don't recall that in The Avengers; curious when it happened. I was under the impression that walking in and out of suits was only a thing starting with IM3
@@jackthegreek6092 In Iron Man 2, the Ex-Wife fails not because it’s ‘Hammer Tech’ but because Rhodey failed to use it probably. Earlier Justin Hammer says it’s a ‘kinetic-kill side-winder vehicle’. Meaning it needs to be accelerated to an extremely high velocity to be effective. Rhodey was way to close to his target.
Mariam really? A cliched conversation with old threats like “Don’t move or ____ dies,” over a badass double teamed high five explosion? I’m being a dick but really?
@@JustChadC I don't disagree that it's cliched but first of all it gives more interaction between Vanko and Stark. Also the actual ending to the film STILL involves Pepper needing rescue from being in harms way (literally all three Iron Man films manage to do this in some way). Also badass double teamed explosion still ends with villain generically kills himself in a last ditch effort.
Its nice to see where the idea of the suit being able to form around Tony came from. It seems the MK 6 was suppose to be the first suit to be used without the gantry for assembly. Not to mention some scenes also show the MK6 in a black and gold color scheme similar to his comic counterpart at the time. Its small details like that which makes this particular deleted scene more interesting than most
Considering how in Avengers He still needs his machines to take the suit off, I think it made sense not to have the open up design in this film. If feels like we see more progress with Iron Man's suits in each film He is in.
The scene that was kept was way better, though this is a neat alternative take. The villain capturing the girl has been done to death, and Im glad they didm;t do that here.
Wow, I am so glad they deleted this scene! It's really quite terrible. That whole rant about "you'll know what it's like to lose everything you love" while he's holding a helpless Pepper captive is quite cliche. I liked the actual ending fine. It wasn't anything special or epic, but it was a pretty okay happy ending with some nice explosions and romance. This one makes no sense, and it's really dragged out. No wonder it was deleted.
Both endings are complete trash but this one is much better. There was something on the line this fight. Both fights ended way too quick but the other ending was just straight mindless action
I liked this version better, though it's a bit cliché in some slight places. Despite that, I like the interactions between Tony and Ivan. They add a lot of character.
I’m glad this scene was removed, only because the Ex-Wife shouldn’t be a functional weapon. It should steal your money and then cause you grief the second it comes back into your life.
Personally would've preferred this ending over the one we got. The final Vaanko battle in the final cut felt tacked on and a bit of a rehash of the climax in the first movie.
I would have loved if in iron Man 2, Whiplashes big suit at the end was also a drone, and he was merely talking into a headset connected to a speaker on it as he went after Pepper (with the (now) drone acting almost by itself in the fight). I would have liked that. I could totally see/hear Tony saying "Is he *Eating*?" If Ivan was still taunting them via the big drone speaker whilst he was eating the Cream and Strawberries.
i would’ve preferred this ending over the one we got. it felt like tony and vanko never had any meaningful interactions aside from the jail scene. this would’ve at least helped
I like the suspense of this scene much better than the stupid actual ending, but I gotta admit, there's more flaws with the logic in this scene ad this scene doesn't really exploit the suspense far enough (she could be dangling from the building, he could have kidnapped Tony in his unsuited form, etc.). So, all in all, they weren't able to write a good ending to this movie =(
They deleted it because it included his “nano ball” they were going to teaser the nano tech but it was too early in the time so they deleted this scnene
Have anyone notice the nanobot thing that tony catches from pepper. All this years i haven't think about tony having a prototype of nanobots several years earlier.
@@aoe4_kachow nah there were a lot of deleted scenes with tony with a nano tech ball in this movie the only thing he got from Wakanda was the shield he used in endgame
Setting up the nano tech early would have been really great but what I love most here is the comic accurate Iron Man undersheath, which was crucial to the operation of many earlier armors. I love how for the movie they made it look similar to the cooling/telemetry suits that real life astronauts wear. Too bad they cut it entirely.
This is a cool deleted scene!! At the same time!! I enjoy the end scene in iron man 2 better… because it shows Ivan in his Mark 2 whiplash amor fighting iron man and War Machine!! Even tho sadly I wish he could of had more screen time
This is actually the one time the directors made the right choice in deleting a scene. Not because of the unfinished CGI but because we would never get to see the kickass scene with Whiplash in his iron suit
Is there any information on the original script, how much more of Vanko they filmed? I heard Rourke was very disappointed in how much his character was cut from the final film and his complaints on the set caused the whole industry to not hire him after the promising comeback starting from "Wrestler".. ?
Ohh, they actually shoot the alternate scenes and then choose which one to keep! Nice. For this scene though there was no necessity to shoot, I would have rejected this alternate ending on paper itself.
Oh myyyyyyyyy !!! Good thing they went with the other ending. Whiplash deserved a second good fight in an upgraded suit, not playing with pocket lassos and kidnapping pretty girls.
Scene-wise, I think it's very small of whiplash to put her in danger. I mean, it makes sense, but it seems like his tactics keep changing, and he doesn't really know what to focus on.
It's a cool scene but I'm glad they didn't use it. It was yet another: "I have your girlfriend helpless." I think a hardened character like Whiplash wouldn't have given the second or two where Pepper tosses Tony the ball.
Glad they didn’t use that as his death but it would have been cool if they lead it up to the final fight from true movie but maybe in a different location
They make Mickey Rourke look like such a bad bitch in this movie. That being said, he would have been a great Sabretooth. Might be a little on the short side?
They didn’t finish the CGI “because it’s a Deleted scene” in case it’s hard for you to understand.. end of story.
