  • in this video I quickly explain and demonstrate how to make fruit juice in a vacuum blender, go over the potential benefits of vacuum blending for making juice, and compare the taste and texture to the Nama J2. this was my first head to head comparison and I was shocked by the differences!

    If the pulp is wet you could put it back in the Nama with more grapes or other fruit to press it. That's what I do sometimes with my Omega juicer and it gets out a little more juice.

    the dynapro vaccum blender is a very strong blender. i have both the nama j2 and dynapro. both have their pros and cons. i usually buy a 100 pack amazon batteries and im good. doesnt die fast. both good juicers. vaccum blender definitely tastes better.

      Very interesting, thanks for sharing! I think I would rather get a rechargeable battery option than just get a bunch of batteries I would have to recycle lol I'm very lazy. I think this comparison really showed me how weak the mecity vacuum pump probably is, and also with a high speed blender like the dynapro, you don't have to overblend like on the mecity. If I ever get the chance I will upgrade to a vacuum blender, but since I'm in no rush, i will keep an eye out for any competitors to the dynapro.

    Great video comparison. I have a MeCity blender and really like it. However it WILL GET ITS VACUUM PUMP CLOGGED and they will not send you another.I was careful to underfill. What happens is the vacuum sucks up moisture through the lid along with the oxygen. Then in a FEW uses it corrodes the electrical contacts in the vacuum pump. We took mine apart at a battery store and it looked like it had corroded for a long time yet had not even been used 5 times over a two week period. That blender is nice for traveling.

      Hi. After a few months they DID send me a replacement vacuum lid. It's a good blender. Again, with ANY VACUUM LID BY ANY MFR load protein powders, etc in the middle of your mixture and only fill 2/3 so the vacuum does not suction up liquids and powders which will then naturally ferment inside the lid and mess up the pump's electronics.Vacuum blending is well worth it- knowing what to do and what not to do with such s blender puts you ahead of the game. In future someone will come out with a moisture-protected lid.@@yahushahamashiachiswarlike

    I wonder if the rotation per minute and the wattage make a difference, like it rotated too fast or somethign and caused a hotter temperature and that changed the color of the juice?

    nice job. I picked up a dynapro from John Kohler a couple of. at first I thought it was the silliest thing I I ever saw. but after trying it once I never looked back.
    do you ever use jicama in your recipes? I'm starting to Noodle around with jicama and I'm considering substituting with jicama in some recipes.

    I am wondering whether the difference came more from the quality of the vacuum blender? And with the straining through the cloth, isn’t a lot of air reintroduced to it?

      I just upgraded to the Nama J2 to last month I don’t think I’ll ever go back to anything else. It is amazing. The cleanup is fast. I’m up at four in the morning and if I can sit there and try to make a juice within 10 minutes and get out the door it’s perfect. I have been seeing a lot of backing blenders and maybe in the future I might get one shot so far my mama is holding me tight. Love it.

    Blending is better because you need the fiber for your gut, unfortunately people don't digest the fiber in fruit very well because they lack the proper enzymes.

    I am very confused because the one from blender looks a lot more oxidized than the nama j2 one its counter intuitive. Have you done more tests and what do you think nowadays? Im asking because I was considering maybe getting a vacuum blender (not sure yet but just looking at videos) but this has me confused a bit

    Lemon juice is a preservative..It will make the juice last longer..

    • @earthwisdomfire
      @earthwisdomfire  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lemon juice also changes the flavor, so I don't always use it but the vast majority of my juices have lemon or lime!

    There is an attachment you can use to turn your vitamin into a vacuum blender

    • @earthwisdomfire
      @earthwisdomfire  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I considered that but it's more expensive than the entire cheap vacuum blender 😂 and I've seen reviews that say the attachment doesn't work that well with the tall narrow carafes like the one I have. I may consider it someday, though.

    • @halieblair8769

      What attachment part for the vita mix * yes?) Are you speaking about.and is it for the newer carafes?. 16:14

  • @curtflirt2
    @curtflirt2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'll tell you where the experiment went a little off, you blended the grapes too much, they should have been blended very little, still some chunk left there to them. Second, squeezing with your hands can change the taste even more, better to use a press of some sort.

    • @earthwisdomfire
      @earthwisdomfire  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that's exactly what I thought the next day, I usually just press the blend button and walk away. That was my first time doing just grapes, they blend in seconds!
