Juicing Coconuts in the Nama J2 tastes soooooooÖH G😋😋D!!! When I made mine I soaked my shredded coconut in filtered water overnight. I haven’t -yet used the type of coconuts 🥥 you used in this video
John you are my friend in my head! 😂 I’ve watched and learned a lot from your videos and I just want to thank you for all your amazing tricks and tips. You have the best content on this platform! Keep up the great work! ❤
I recently bought the Nama J2 and it is pretty easy to use. Not having to prep so much is such a plus when compared to other juicers. But there is one glaring problem I have found with the hopper. There is a crevice between the "glass" and the base of the hopper where chunks of food gets into. After cleaning it and putting the juicer back together, the next day I saw a swarm of fruit flies trying to get into the juicer. I opened it and was greeted with an unpleasant smell. Took me a good while to find the source of the smell because the crevice is so small. It is so small I had to use an x-acto knife just to get the bits of carrots out. Spent a good 30 plus minutes trying to clean it. Nama needs a redesign of their hopper to eliminate said crevice. I contacted Nama and they sent another hopper, but that one too also has that crevice, but its just not as problematic as the first so it didn't take as long to clean this time around. I gotta say I am disappointed with the juicer. To anyone who has the Nama J2 or to anyone thinking of buying one, be sure to look in the crevice to make sure no food left over and gets stuck in between.

Thanks for your feedback. I have heard about this issue from one other customer, so it may be an isolated incident. When I clean my hopper and always spray it down with high-pressure water and it seems to dislodge any pulp that is stuck in the hopper and I have never had any fruit flies collect in there. I did have a problem with fruit flies and the ORIGINAL VOID vacuum lid before they made changes to it to ensure easier cleaning of the lid. That being said, I have escalated this matter to the CEO of Nama, and he will work with the factory to get this corrected if this part is not being made according to exact tolerances to prevent this from occurring.
The Nama J2 is designed for household use. It does not have commercial certifications. It will not pass health department NSF requirements, if required. Furthermore commercial use may void the warranty. That being said, some people do use the J2 commercially to make large volumes of juice. That being said, if you want to use it for commercial use, I would get the Nama C2 as the motor seems more robust and can catch more juice because it is taller.
Hello John I am from India I want to purchase a slow juicer but I'm pretty confused between Agaro Imperial slow juicer 240 Watts and Kuvings B1700 Professional cold press juicer with smoothie and sorbet strainer 240 Watts
Please do take out some time and guide me on those two juicers so that I can make an informed decision. I want to make juice of root vegetables like carrots and beets alongwith some fruits and greens like spinach, mint, cilantro. Do I have to remove the seeds from the citrus fruits before juicing.

Is that sorbet attachment more like a blank screen like the omega? Does it also make the nut butters? Thanks
Yes..no holes
Try using the opposite side of the clever blade next time.
I never knew how to open a coconut... Thanks for showing the process... I gotta get a meat cleaver
what is your best suggestion for a juicer for processing taro into the hawaiian food staple, poi?
I dont see the link for demeating tool
Amazon
what about young thai coconuts?
young thai coconuts have meat that is very young, and will not properly process in the Nama J2. It is better suited for vacuum blending (or blending)
How did you get all the fiber off? I struggle with just taking off the tops of Young Coconuts.
testa layer can be removed with a vegetable peeler or a paring knife, if you wish.
Can I use nama j2 for commercial purpose

Hello John I am from India I want to purchase a slow juicer but I'm pretty confused between Agaro Imperial slow juicer 240 Watts and Kuvings B1700 Professional cold press juicer with smoothie and sorbet strainer 240 Watts
Those models are not sold in the USA, so I have not tested them.
Thank you but I am not that high on budget so I just asked for your suggestion. But do every juicer produce some pulp and froth.
The trick for removing the coconut meat easier, is to tap the coconut multiple times round, again and again, before breaking it.
Thank you John for these excellent ideas…can’t wait to get my Nama J 2
Regards
