Megan. I am a long arm quilter and really do not like piecing at all. I have a very special friend who loves to piece and has lost her eyesight almost completely. She has had several quilts that I have helped her finish but I refused to do her paper pieced top she started because it just rebaked me out. So I watched you several times and really almost all your videos and quests what ..... I’m finishing her paper pieced quilt for her and she is thrilled beyond belief. Thank you for all your videos.

I love to do FPP and have watched many tutorials and paid for online classes. Yours is one of the best I have seen, and your tip about folding the paper back when adding a new piece would have prevented the many times that I put the fabric on the wrong way. Thank you!

You are SO AWESOME, to share this AND show how to do this!!! What a great project!!! ALSO: I saw a cool tip for a DIY lightbox- put your phone (use flashliggt or any bright screen) on table facing up, with a glass casserole dish flipped upside down over tope of it, lay paper on dish.... VIOLA!!

I've been quilting for 30 years and I love paper piecing. This is a great tutorial! I even learned a new trick from you. I've never folded back the paper to test the newly placed piece of fabric. Wow! Love this tip! Thank you for the Economy Block foundations. Love having all the sizes. So kind of you to share them with us. Thanks again and I hope you put up some new videos soon.

Omg! I finally ordered the newsprint! I love your blocks they are adorable! Years ago 2020 to be exact I bought a FPP pattern that I was unable to take to the printers so now I can do it myself. I didn’t know what kind of paper to use or tell the printers to use! The economy block is my new favorite block! I love your videos! Thanks for all the tips, tricks and especially the inspiration! I lost my quilting joy and am struggling to find it again! I have at least 7 quilts started in 2022 and only finished one in 2022! The winters get longer and longer for me but I’m going to keep on keeping on!

Thank you for the ideas and this free pattern to get started on my scraps. (In addition to my own "stash") I inherited a big pile of hand-cut squares from my grandma's vintage fabric collections over her lifetime. Everything was saved and put in the "scrap barrel". Another relative cut those into squares and passed along a huge bucket full after she used what she wanted. I made 1 scrap quilt and didn't want to make another like it. But now I see what to do with them all. I just subscribed and am looking back at your other videos now. And looking forward to new one.

Serendipity moment for me! Thank you so much. Several years ago I had finally collected a large bunch of frosted and glittery winter blues and white fabrics. So about 5 years ago I made winter landscapes for all four of our children for Christmas. Right now, I’m adding in some of the blue frosted blue fabrics in a winter quilt for us. As I was cutting, I cut the remaining wintery fabrics into 3.5” squares for a simple wintery blue quilt for an adult granddaughter who loves these fabrics. AND I still have scraps leftover!
Since these fabrics are so special to me, I was wondering how to use them and down to real scraps now. I’m watching this very video as I’m cutting and thinking 🤔. Bingo! Serendipity arrives. Yup, now I’ll have a nice little wall hanging for our bedroom to compliment this current quilt. I’m delighted beyond words and thanks so much for the bottom of my heart.
    Hugs from Maine.

Thank you for the pattern and great tutorial! I'm looking forward to practicing my FPP. I tried a more complicated block the other night with a friend. The directions called for a lot of specific measuring and exact angles. We both agreed that larger fabric pieces would be more forgiving. I know I can make that block with practice on something more straightforward and your 6" economy blocks will alternate with the other block beautifully!

I love doing complicated FPP patterns. Lol. This is one I have wanted to do for a while with my own scraps though. I start/stop a bit before and after each seam I sew because then the pieces after lock the threads, but I also use a bit bigger stitch length then you do. Thanks for the patterns. I love the idea of using several sizes. Thanks for all the great informative videos. I always seem to learn something new. It's funny for me to think back and remember not trying FPP for years because I thought it looked too confusing but once I did I was hooked. :)

I love FPP and I’m going to download your patterns. I haven’t thought about doing blocks in different sizes and then put them together. You do a great job explaining. I also had that ahh haa moment when the process clicked in. I was taught to trim the 1/4” before sewing the second piece, giving you the 1/4” seam allowance for the 2nd piece alignment . But obviously it actually doesn’t matter. Your nice slow calm directions will really help anyone trying this technique. !!!

Thank you for this great tutorial on paper piecing! This one even a beginner could follow. WELL DONE! I have so many scraps that have been going into crumb quilts. Never thought to paper piece with them! Also never thought to use my light board! Can't wait to get started. Thank you!!

I love FPP. This is a wonderful tutorial for it. I wish it would have been available a few months ago when I was doing my very first FPP. Thank you!

I LOVE FPP!!! The very first block I ever made, I hated FPP. It was the hardest thing for me to grasp. I was in a class and the poor teacher had to help me at every step for the first few pieces of the block. Once I understood what I was doing, I fell in love with the process! I haven’t attempted anything too terribly complicated, but I think I’m ready to take that next step. FPP is sooooo much fun!! Thank you for the video! You got me inspired to pull out FPP again.

Thank you for the great video. I think I will start making this block and just let them accumulate making 1 or more per day and but them together when the mood strikes. have signed up for your news letter and can not wait to see any other blocks you have for paper piecing. Thanks again

I used my scraps from making masks to make quilted hearts to donate to "shut-ins" in Scarborough, Maine. I made 6 hearts today. I still have alot of scraps to try this. Thank you!

I don’t have a long term project. I had decided yesterday to start a PLUS quilt to have on the side of my machine so if I have the pieces I can do a few at a time each time I sew. The squares are 6in plus signs. Two blocks, two colors I’m going to pre-cut the backgrounds and put them and the directions next to my machine. Let’s see if I can do this. I love your channel you are so calm.tx

I watch all your videos. I watch you on Roku. There is no comment option on Roku. I do have a like option I have to stop the video and navigate to the icons. I found you on my phone just so I can like and comment. I love your tutorials.
