Me, as an international student, had gone nine yards for self-learning English for many years, but still not be able to improve a lot as my expectation. how ever, by watching your video, I feel English is like an easy peasy lemon squeezy, not like other similar types of English teaching channel, the host often beat around the bush or not try to go to the chase more quickly which makes me frustrated, I know they as a TH-camr need to draw attention from the audience. that is the rule of the thumb. I kinda regret that I was even struggling to foot the bill to cram school right off the bat, kinda waste of my valuable time, but now there is no one night magic, I don't need to reinvent the wheel, I know I can learn authentic English more efficiently by watching your interesting videos, well done Maggie, you are the best, Let's keep up the work. cheers.

I have often heard the expression “beat around the bushes.” - the plural form of bush is used there. I often use “the whole nine yards” to mean “nothing gets omitted.” For example, someone asked John what he stores in his garage, John would list everything down to 50 screws in the tools cabinet drawer.

如果祗用 Let’s be honest 来解释 put all the card on the table 祗說出了一半的意义. “诚实的态度. 缺少的另外一半的是: 应该还要包括期待的 action. 例如没有保留的说出 position , intention, thinking and doing 等等
