It's an auto show. Open to the public. I was there on media day, which is how I got to interview the product manager. Corporate is usually only there on media day. They make sure questions are answered, we (press) know what's going on, and that their displays are looking good. Fun fact: Scottie Kilmer was there. I'm interested in what everyone has to say.
There's 2 Charger Scat Packs at a dealer near me. They are 2017 models with 45, yes 45 miles on them and still have the sticker in the window. never been titled before April 2020..The warranty would be a full 36K bumper to bumper with about 32 months left. The original sticker is $46K The dealer wants 31K for them but the only problem is they are bright yellow...!! What's your opinion on buying one?
Just a suede headliner in the R/T for 2020 is all I know. It's fairly nailed down and I can attest that it's been trouble free for the first year I owned it so far. You really can't go wrong with an R/T or SRT!
@@NewCarSpin Took a road trip last month in the R/T. 350 miles out, another 350 back. Half on straight interstate and half on windy mountain roads. Passing acceleration is phenomenal. The car just jumps on command. The transmission reads my mind. Waiting for Dodge to respond to the new Explorer ST. Now that Explorer is rear-biased, it's gonna give R/T a run. Need to give R/T fancy massage seat, for one.
@@TheCondoInRedondo Owning an Explorer ST, I will say, SHE'S FAST!!! Comfortable and fairly economical for a big suv. From the research I can find, the only SUV that beats it is the SRT Durango, but it's got 85 more hp and 2 more cylinders than the Explorer. I wanted the rumble of the V8, but the SRT was about 15k more, and the RT just didnt hold up to the performance. I dont tow ever, so I dont need the Towing Capacity, but agreed, it needs something. I hope the rumors about the HELLCAT DURANGO are true!
@@TheCondoInRedondoI know I dont usually want to get a car in its first year, so to let the bugs get worked out, but well, a little late for me to wait a year now, lol. The only gripe that I have about it, if any, is the delay in the screens showing what driving mode I'm in. I dont drive it like I stole it. I have done that, a few times, but I am usually driving a couple hundred highway miles every couple weeks and to and from work, just a few minutes each way. But knowing these complaints, I'll definitely take a closer look at things. Thanks
I really hope dodge ends the gas powered muscle car era with the charger being on top in terms of power over the challenger because the charger originally is the more iconic name plate, and deserves to be #1
I think it's ridiculous to switch to EV at a time when gas engines have achieved amazing gains in hp and efficiency. I don't know how many people want an EV, but there's one thing I know... there is no infrastructure for charging EVs.
@@NewCarSpin 100% agree. And the crazy part is that in order to power these charging stations, they burn fossil fuels, so it’s not even “saving the environment” as much as a lot of people think they are
Meh 😑, I’ll pass on all these. I’ll just come back Probably in What? 5 or 10 years more?? Until I’ll see it in it’s PROPER WAY AS A 2 D O O R . IN HOW IT SHOULD BE.
i hope they make a Dodge Charger redeye soon
It’s funny cuz they did
I’m waiting for that Red eye all wheel drive hellcat to be introduced
It’ll almost certainly be rwd
Can anyone show up to this or do you need a press pass? I live in Houston and would like to stop by there this weekend if possible

There are two types of buyers. Those who buy the car, and those who buy the deal.
Is it possible to get Laguna leather and the scatpack widebodys
I love charger 💣💥
What about that Durango in the background? Anything new?

Can buy flares at Walmart...more flare Integration would have been better for the cost.
Yeah flares from Walmart! and your charger will look like it has Silverado flares studs and all 🤣
Hella helpful
Man, I'd buy a car from that guy.
That guy is the product manager. He makes the decisions on future changes to Challenger and Charger models. He's the guy in charge.

I’m like 💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
body is awesome. INTERIOR IS TRASH. GET SOME TECHNOLOGY IN THERE
Uconnect is the best in the business. What other tech could it possibly need other than a ball massager?
The car has technology it’s has the the u connect system has like lock launch control the srt pages all the assist what else technology’s you need?
in 19 years they have had the same interior.......
Not at all 2006 to 2010 have a different interior completely. 2011 to 2014 different gauge cluster. 2015 to 2020 current interior.
You must be blind lol
Don't see any Charger...all l see is a NY taxi Sedan....
Funny. In Germany, all I see are E-class sedans that look like taxis.
