Hi Mick. Love all your fountain and journaling vids and just saw this bag review which was a nice surprise. I got this bag about a week ago and I absolutely LOVE it. I store my 14" MacBook Pro inside, along with an A5 leather journal + cover, leather field notes wallet (a bit smaller than a travelers brand notebook), iPhone, keys, a Maxpedition pouch with all kinds of "just in case" tools/grooming/emergency supplies, AirPods, sunglasses, and several large fountain pens. In the external zippered compartment I carry my 11" iPad Pro in a Logitech keyboard case. And in the hidden back pocket I carry an ID badge on a lanyard. I can wear this on my motorcycle without fear of water ruining my electronics. I wear it as a sling in front when on my motorcade or driving a car, and when walking it's on my back (sling mode) or on one shoulder (messenger mode). It is the most comfortable and wisely designed EDC bag I've ever used...and I have tried so many. It even doubles as a handy desk surface (due to its contoured shape) when placed face down underneath my laptop. Sooo versatile.
Getting me through nursing school, had small strap issue and alpaka customer service handled it and sent a new strap out , water ,proofing kept my MacBook safe on my motorcycle in a down pour , alpaka is the real deal
I recently discovered Alpaka and started with their Hub system with a zip pouch and hub pouch and I love them. Recently ordered the utility pouch and am just waiting for delivery. They're wonderful products.
I really like this bag but lack of straps on the bottom to attach a jacket or tripod is a dealbreaker, such a shame as otherwise it's perfect. I also don't like the plastic piece on the front for the sim tool, seems like wasted space.

It is precisely the bag needed for the commute from home to work in the office. Thanks for the presentation.
Fantastic video. Have been back and forth on this bag but you sold me. You earned yourself a sub. Keep up the great work.
