Frame feeders tend t be a touch big so i rasp a couple of mm off one side. place the rasped side to the box....... you know, bee math

Hi from southern new Zealand 👋 Most people get really excited about the honey crop but making little hives into big hives is the best part, some people might get bored with it but not me😂 personally pulling honey is my least favorite job, lifting heavy boxes in scorching hot weather. it's mid winter here and what you're doing is what I want to be doing 😆 awesome video 👋

Sweet, this spring I made my splits next to my big hives and moved the big hives away the next evening while they were returning and it made the nucs strong and so they built frames so nice

I never liked the frame feeders much, usually ended up with a lot of drowned bees, which led to beetle infestation. I don't feed except during goldenrod, just to bulk them up before winter.Milkweed has been in bloom for a little bit here, still a little soybeans blooms, cotton hasn't bloomed yet.
