I've seen it happen it's not pretty. My cousin was taking a cup of Soda to the table when he suddenly tripped over a Chihuahua with a sudden case of the zoomies. The dog who loves people food and is always licking the floor hoping to find scraps, immediately lapped it up. I swear I thought that dog was going to phase through the wall he was going so fast. He was already a shrill voiced fellow even for a Chihuahua but it got even louder and shriller to the point where my sister insists he went outside the range of human hearing.

Sonic Drive-in offers Pup Cups, the same thing as the puppoccino (?), except they’re not free. They’re about $1 USD and you have to ask them for one. Worked at one for a year and a half, so any secrets about it that I know of, I’ll tell you.
It’s also difficult for business owner to allow dogs or any animals because of hair. Some people are allergic to dog hair and their hair floats which becomes a potential food safety issue

Yeah, not every place has an anti-dog rule. The public library where I work has always allowed dogs. The director who hired me used to bring in her own dog sometimes, and he'd be there for hours. Obviously, if your dog is going to freak out and start biting people, that would be a different thing, but honestly I think a human child is more likely to do something like that, than a dog. Dogs instinctively go on their best behavior when they're away from home, because they know they're in somebody else's territory. It generally isn't a problem.
Eeeeeeeh. To be entirely fair, sometimes it's just a cleanliness and safety thing. Like, I'd rather be in places with puppos too, but two problems with that. One, most people don't know how to train dogs. Just a fact. A lot of them out there aren't well socialized or taught to listen to cues. Second... Still animals. Which means prone to things like pooping or peeing in a public place or when excited. In clean facilities or places around food, no bueno. Those sorts of places not only wouldn't ask you to clean up after your pets mess, but are probably legally liable if their workers don't follow strict procedures in cleaning up your pets mess. So while in most scenarios it'd be nice, sometimes there are really good reasons it's not really acceptable or respectful to bring the pets.
Yeah despite having a no pets sign on the door, only the managers ever care. At the Starbucks I go to they put pictures of employees and customers pets on the wall and the barista that put up the picture of my CATS, literally told me to bring them in one day so she could meet them.
Chihuahuas ARE so cute!!!!! My husband never thought he liked small dogs . Then I found 2 Chihuahuas. (Long story). He changed his mind A couple of years ago I discovered a rescue chi-mix in a Pet Supermarket! He'd just been talking about one of our chihuahuas who'd passed. So I made him come into the store w/ me, & took her k back to where the rescue group had POCO. He fell in n love w/him & I told him "Happy birthday!". Cost me a whole $40. My husband passed away a couple of weeks ago. I still have Poco

@@The-Blue-Knight In some places, dog owners have to get their dogs/pets tagged (I.e. have a collar with what is essentially an id-tag on it.) Like, when I use to live in Louisiana and we'd take our dogs to get their routine shots, the vet or whatever would give us little metal tags to put on their collars that basically showed they were up-to-date on their shots. Kinda like an inspection sticker on a car's license plate.

Unfortunately there a lot of places that don't allow dogs, primarily because of the dog owners, not properly training or socializing their dogs.
