1. You guys are the only one who knew/know about the 4th pin indicator- where was that info found? 2. What is the vertical rest to sight rail measurement on the Hoyt? Trying to figure out how you are shooting a #9 sight tape and I’m a 21-22, but my bow is shooting 300fps. Trying to figure out how your getting a 125yd plus sight tape?
1. We did a lot of research on the sight and read it somewhere. 2. Are you meaning from the actual arrow rest or the “self” on the riser? There can be some factors on your sight tape. How far out the sight is from the riser or close can affect it. I’m not sure how you are on a 21-22 sight tape. Our ventum pro 30 is 288fps and has a number 11 sight tape.
Seeing more info on archerytalk about the 4th pin indicator. Call it shelf to bottom of pic mount. Wondering if it’s different on a Mathew’s (to some degree it probably is). Just going by some of the videos I’ve seen with guys sighting in with same setup I’m using on TH-cam. Similar draw weights, arrow setups. Believe s&s was at like 22 and one of the other guys was a 21. Seemed crazy to me. Will take this to distance and finish sighting in tomorrow and confirm for myself. Just trying to make it all make sense.
I switched from v3 27 to the alpha x 30. Hate to say it but the grip and control the Mathew’s doesn’t even come close to Hoyt. The Hoyt grip is horrendous. I tore it off and ran hockey tape which helped quite a bit. My little 27” ata boa I could shoot 80 yards lights out, this Hoyt I just can’t get used to it. Hoyt draw is WAY EASIER AND SMOOTHER tho. 74lbs on Hoyt feels like 65 on my Mathew’s. I’ll be going back to Mathew’s for 2025’.
What do you guys think of this color scheme!?!
Purple and bourbon is kinda like peanut butter and jelly. Cool combo!
Thanks!
That bow looks sick!
I did the same thing when mounting to the pic rail and got a little more play. I'm using sight tape #1...
Dang! Thats a fast bow!
Bow is 🔥🔥🔥 Ready to REK one!!
Bought one two months ago, go for it you will not regret it!!

It hurts to see someone drawing a bow like you do.. And purple strings are not what I would like. But thats a matter of taste of course
