That the first time you guys have been drawn there? Been there 3 times and have yet to pull the trigger. Lot of 160 plus there.
Yea, our first time in that state. We heard of a big one in the area from a game warden. I may have seen it for like 2 seconds. It was huge but was 70 yards from me in brush.
Archery Target practice on a rifle range 🤦♂️
We were the only ones there and it was small.
Where ya hunting at in Missouri
Sorta the north eastern side.
What poundage yall shooting ?
Both are shooting 70lbs and roughly a 450-470 grain arrow.
First comment!!
Let’s go!!
Next video 🏹🦌?
Let’s go!!!!
Dang, that was a good Michigan buck too!
That is worse feeling being unsure.
Yea, I agree. Seen the buck a couple weeks later. So pretty sure it was not lethal.
@ good luck. I hope you see him rifle season or late bow.
I switched from v3 27 to the alpha x 30. Hate to say it but the grip and control the Mathew’s doesn’t even come close to Hoyt. The Hoyt grip is horrendous. I tore it off and ran hockey tape which helped quite a bit. My little 27” ata boa I could shoot 80 yards lights out, this Hoyt I just can’t get used to it. Hoyt draw is WAY EASIER AND SMOOTHER tho. 74lbs on Hoyt feels like 65 on my Mathew’s. I’ll be going back to Mathew’s for 2025’.
What brand of retractable hoist are you using in that Ranger 22? That hoist setup is awesome!
It was a big game treestands one. He has since ditched it and went to a hss retractable bow hoist on the saddle. We both run them like that.
I wonder if a LWCG stand would fit under that flap?
It probably could on the latitude. Not sure if it would on the cruzr but you may be able to make it work.
The lattitude is a old Dakine skate bag design from the early 2000s.. I had the exactly same bag
Might be a dumb question but is that water bottle set up in the latitude a kit? New to saddle hunting and using packs just trying to figure out how to get that water bottle set up. Any advice is appreciated thanks
www.hardsidehydration.com/products/swig-63 We purchased ours at a total archery challenge event. This is the company that we got one at and the other at the tac booth.
Okay this is the best pack I have run......but. I am struggling with the lower back pad. It is positioned in a place that actually causes pain in my back. I have reached out to Latitude to see if there is a way to remove the pad without destroying the bag. For me, the pad is to thick and to dense. Again this is my opinion and my eperience, others may love it!
I’ll tell ya what…. I’ve run most of these bags, even just bought the ranger 11…. But I honestly think for half the price , the 5.11 Rush12 2.0 paired with some tetherd cinch strap kit takes the cake ….
I actually have had the 1st version of the rush 12 for over 10 years. I use it all the time and have stuffed it over full with clothes and stuff. It has held up great. I’ll admit, I’ve looked at it a few times and thought about taking it hunting. Never thought about it for a saddle set up though. I’ve always ran a Badlands superday before I got a saddle and it was super easy to strap anything to.
@@ProvenPursuit Grab a set of the cinch straps from tetherd, attach the two buckle straps to connect ur platform and sticks and use a pair of cinch straps for the bottom in case u wanna pack in some heavier clothes . it’s no different than what a ranger pack does
at half the cost and it’s actually more comfortable
Hello fab
It’s almost go time!!!
So close!
This is awesome! I'm planning on doing the same to my property in Wisconsin and the ideas you guys talked about with the fingers and the boomerang shape made a lot of sense. I'm subbed and will be watching the progress!!
Thanks! Hopefully yours turns out awesome!
Good video Bombshell is good stuff
Hey Kyle! New subscriber here. Wishing you all the best brother for a prosperous, happy and healthy future with your new adventures.
Thanks!
@@ProvenPursuit absolutely brother! I just moved to Michigan from Florida. I inherited 5 acres with a small house and I have a 700+ acre farm behind me. I have deer in the back yard all the time. I’ve walked the back property and have seen game trails everywhere. In April I had found rubs in two places. So I am excited to see what your channel can teach me lol
You have any idea what the ph is? If its low those brassicas are really gonna struggle, i got 2 little plots and one is dryer with bad ph and it won't do nothing, my other with better ph is doing really well! My good one is getting some cal mag this weekend! Good luck 🤞
We didn’t do a soil test like we wanted to. So we just tossed down a bunch of fertilizer. It’s growing pretty good so far. We had a stretch where we didn’t get much rain. The last week we’ve gotten a decent amount and it’s popped up really good.
@@ProvenPursuit heck yeah! Hopefully your pH ain't to bad and they grow good, I didn't do a test on mine either but I did go in late winter and put 2500lb acre lime down and when I planted I put down probably 3500 and put 19-19-19 on it, and now I'm going to spray some cal- mag on the plants as a foliar to help the plants get micro nutrients, I even got a bag of Epsom salts ( mag- sulfur) and put down really lighty! My main problem is the damn rain, I think I'm going to finally get a good soaker today
Good video bud! Just subscribed!
Thanks!
Looking good. I just planted some big sexy and smack down Monday and haven’t had any rain yet but I’m excited to see how it does.
Same here. I’m in! love me some ice fishing!
Thanks! Hoping we have better ice this year. Last season we hardly had ice and when we did it was sketchy. lol
Just saw your plug from RR. I dig the ice fishing content
Thanks! Hoping we have better ice this year. Last season we hardly had ice and when we did it was sketchy. lol
While I understand rage blades don't hold up the best in broadhead "tests", I've been using rage heads for years and have never once busted a blade. Shot the original rage 3 blade for a while then switched the the hypodermic in 2016. Never had a problem with them. Never broke a blade even going through shoulders. Deer aren't walking round with Armour on. I suppose if we're talking elk or pigs then that's a different story. With all that said, I'm most likely going to be switching over to the rek hxp. I like what I see from that head and they are very durable
You’ll love the REK HXP! It’s a solid head that’s hard to beat.

I’ve been super happy with Domain’s seed.
Already had a Michigan 11 point in there I seen it lol
There has actually been a Michigan 11 point in there since it’s been done. 😂😂
Wish I had a mini when I did mine. Lol
Love my UV, I've been using Night Sight Tape with my slider and the setup has been great!
If they could fix the pin brightness this sight would be perfect.
Heard that they will warranty out the cartridge for pin brightness. I know when we were at TAC, Michigan, they were doing so.
Love Total Archery Challenge events!
Should have put Weston in your video. Would have been way better.
Lmao we should have shot a course together and I would have.
I thought you was just a SxS guy.
Nope! I have a few hobbies that I like to do. Lol this is my own channel.
Who all was there?
It hurts to see someone drawing a bow like you do.. And purple strings are not what I would like. But thats a matter of taste of course
Got a question. I have the phase 4 shooting 75# 28” draw with a 370grain arrow. It shooting #19 sight tape witch seems way too slow compared to others I’ve seen. Also only have clearance out to about 75yards Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it???
I’d check your actual draw weight. We have a friend with a lift and with 70lbs mods but was only get 65lbs. He just put 75lbs mods on it and his sight tape is high 20’s with a heavier arrow than yours. So could just be a Mathews thing.
Thanks for the advice need all the help I can get newbie!
Purple and bourbon is kinda like peanut butter and jelly. Cool combo!
Thanks!
I put the UV Slider on my Lift 29.5 and love it so far. I did put a single pin cartridge in it for our local 3D league.
Been thinking about picking up a single pin cartridge for 3D and tac.
I did the same thing when mounting to the pic rail and got a little more play. I'm using sight tape #1...
Dang! Thats a fast bow!
Bow is 🔥🔥🔥 Ready to REK one!!
Bought one two months ago, go for it you will not regret it!!
Those REK’s are the best!
That bow looks sick!
REK Broadheads are the best on the market!! Change our mind.
What do you guys think of this color scheme!?!
1. You guys are the only one who knew/know about the 4th pin indicator- where was that info found? 2. What is the vertical rest to sight rail measurement on the Hoyt? Trying to figure out how you are shooting a #9 sight tape and I’m a 21-22, but my bow is shooting 300fps. Trying to figure out how your getting a 125yd plus sight tape?
1. We did a lot of research on the sight and read it somewhere. 2. Are you meaning from the actual arrow rest or the “self” on the riser? There can be some factors on your sight tape. How far out the sight is from the riser or close can affect it. I’m not sure how you are on a 21-22 sight tape. Our ventum pro 30 is 288fps and has a number 11 sight tape.
Seeing more info on archerytalk about the 4th pin indicator. Call it shelf to bottom of pic mount. Wondering if it’s different on a Mathew’s (to some degree it probably is). Just going by some of the videos I’ve seen with guys sighting in with same setup I’m using on TH-cam. Similar draw weights, arrow setups. Believe s&s was at like 22 and one of the other guys was a 21. Seemed crazy to me. Will take this to distance and finish sighting in tomorrow and confirm for myself. Just trying to make it all make sense.
