That one really does look cool. I think they need to revamp the rarity of some of the spells and cloak items, because they don't seem to make sense to me
@@JawlessPaul Well, i certainly can`t testify to this. I opened up with golden anima when i had no blue one and sometimes only found another golden anima or 2 blue anima. It is a 1 for 1 trade, so nothing lost, but still a bit disappointing.^^
Haven’t got that battery ability yet, looks op af Edit: oh yea, the anima periodic generation is stupid af but it works if you wanna make your run last a really long time waiting for gold animas and rehealing
@@JawlessPaul Managed to get a similar build to yours in the video, when i started with the freshly unlocked Wishstorm. Didn`t found that many defensive buffs, but it didn`t matter since Wishstorm charges up your Frenzy so fast, i could spam the Umbrella frenzy for i-frames.^^ Netted me my first fully cleared run, with only Time himself being able to damage me.^^
I've heard this guy say spells are better then cloak. This is just mathematically not true. The cloaks have higher DPS by far. You can only use 1 or 2 spells and have to wait way longer then most cloak cool downs for the mana to refill. Best results are having one of each, use the cloak when you are waiting for mana to refill.
Definitely fair to say that the cloak DPS is better. The reason I say spells are better (ie more important to seek out) is because of the healing and the ability to kill things from far away, sometimes even off screen. That almost always feels better than more raw DPS. You want to see a lot of different spell options in case you find one of those spells or one of the healing spells

I've been resetting this game for hours trying to get a spell I liked at the start or before the end of world 1 and I've only found it once.
Really depends but definitely cloak and scythe builds out dps. But all the stupid op builds are spell based. Especially witchstorm and moskillto. Witchstorm probably the most broken when it’s fully upgraded but it’s definitely not fun to play lol unless you like idle games.
@@Coffee_KingTV I think it is good if you enter a department for the first time. You can attack enemies from a safe distance and just focus on watching, learning and dodging their attack patterns.
Yeah, I recommend checking any corners with plenty of black space around them. That is where they are likely to appear. Go slow and check thoroughly. Especially in the first biome (hall of eternity)
Or just take your time with the run, try to stick to the walls and react when you see the locker. If you go pass by and return to it, the locker won't show up
@@JawlessPaul My favorite is still the Scythe with the Morningstar on the other end. Just for its short hop spammable aerial attack.^^ Always looking for builds to make the most of this attack, even if it is unsafe as hell.
Defeat Major several times and the game will prolong to two others department in able to end the game. And it got harder even when you choose breakdown 0

Try daggust with low cooldown and + ammo and stack as much damage as possible. You’ll be able to spam it and be nearly unkillable

Anvillaunch is funny. Especially once you leveled it up and decreased its manacost to 5. Then you can spam the hell out of it.^^

I found some legendary stuff in secret rooms. But yeah, they are now as varied as secret rooms in Binding of Isaac.^^

Yeah, it seems like the blue curses are easy to ignore, but there are a few that are totally bonkers
