Today I wanted to congratulate this performer on his exquisite performance of Claire de lune at Rouen, but i discovered that mr. Joel Hastings passed away in 2016. Very sad news for the international world of organists and their admirers & musiclovers. Antwerpen, 15/7/2022
I come back to listening to this interpretation every now and again, it just keeps fascinating. Thank you Jan De Bie for mentioning the recent passing of Joel Hastings. It makes the audition of this piece all the more intense.
