I love Sofyan’s reviews. I’ve been watching them for years, and his channel is one of the few I subscribe to on TH-cam. As a car owner, I can’t help but notice small errors in his reviews. For example, he mentioned a Z71 package for launch control when he meant to say Z51. However, that's incorrect as all C8s have launch control; the method to enable it differs between the Z51 and base trims. He also stated that the 2024 model doesn’t have GM’s latest infotainment software, which is not true. The 2024 model features the latest version of GM’s infotainment with Google built-in, unlike previous model years. Overall, it's still a very good review of a deserving car.
Love this video! I truly just never click on anything having to do with electric cars. This video made my whole morning. Four years into this generation and the base stingray still puts a huge smile on Sofyan’s face
Soyfan, it’s always a pleasure watching you enjoy yourself in the Chevrolet Corvette. Every time you drive this car on camera it’s like you have come alive! It’s even fun watching you have fun in it, makes me want one so badly I’m ngl! 🔥😎
All C8s have launch control. You don't have the as many options for traction control without the Z-51 package, but if you put the car in sport or track mode and hold the ABS button for 2 seconds you can choose the sport PTM option (or set it in the 'Z' mode and just press the Z button) this will turn on launch control. Also the HTC versions are also fully capable of 2.9sec 0-60. Due to the structural bolstering of the center channel, they didn't need to add additional reinforcement to the car as many convertibles do. The HTC is only about 80 pounds heavier than the Coupe. It is not significant enough to effect the 0-60. The weather and your altitude is a bigger factor than those 80 pounds.
If I ever picked up a C8 would have to be an HTC. Looks great with the top up or down. Track weapon one minutes and then a great top down for your evening drive home from the track.

I do not have the front-lift option, but I do not think I need it. Love this "second car." It seems like 99 percent of the TH-cam videos on the C8 are very positive/complimentary. Your video makes me even more happy to have bought this "supercar." Bye for now. VROOO! VROOM! lol

breaking the bank depends on your income ..... most C8 Corvettes in my area are $100,000+ ... I make good money and my wife makes great money and we can't afford a C8 ....
Breaking the bank is a relative phrase, but compared to it’s competition (rear/mid engine cars, e.g., Porsche, McClaren, Ferrari, & Lambo) the entry level Stingray is a great performance bargain. I've seen used low milage C8s in the mid 60k to 70k range. I never considered corvette until the current mid engine C8 version came to market. I was considering a Porsche 911 Turbo S which was about $215k compared to my 2023 2LT HTC, Z51 w/magna ride at $93k. Given its performance even with the old tech NA 6.2L pushrod V8, it’s a performance bargain.

Whaddaya say, folks? Should GM build a
If they ever make a trim with a 4cyl engine it will still cost a lot more than $40k. There's no way that the V8 powertrain alone adds $40k to the cost of the car.
breaking the bank depends on your income ..... most C8 Corvettes in my area are $100,000+ ...
Beautiful car ❤️

3.4 seconds 0-60 is a amazing number
not after evs came up). my tesla model y family mini suv is 4.8 seconds.
It's a great time to be alive
@@nt5898Yeah, I know. I'm a Tesla man, too. But the Corvette is a toy, and a nasty V8 is perfect.
(My only gripe with this car is that it's about a hundred feet wide. )
Tesla's doing fast 0-60 is the most mundane, boring thing I can think of. I prefer to drive slower cars that don't feel like iPads with wheels.
@@Aki_Lesbrinco hm, i feel contrary when i leave 95% cars on the road in the dust)
I’m waiting ten more years to buy one of these used.
