Ontario stocks what they call F2 Splake. They are crossed twice with Lake Trout so they resemble Lakers more in appearance and grow to larger proportions.
Those 2 big splake look identical to each other lol red caught in the hut. That's unheard of catching 2 beasts like this he same day same hole same lake....sure it wasn't the same fish? Didn't even fight. I dont know about you but when I'm jigging and get a hit, I dont let my line go slack like you did. Looks staged to me....

dyed minnows arent making a difference. trophy waters with trophy fish you would catch just as many jigging a bare spoon.

Not a fan of the dye garbage. I eat thoose splake that's distugusting. if I start catching splake with colorful gills I know who I'm blaming

Look up "fish on-line" and put in some research. It will tell you what's in the lake, how many and when they stocked them

We didn't need to stage anything on this day. We were fortunate to have such an epic bite we didn't use half of the fish we caught in the video.
