While the intent ng owners is to make something with Japanese-aesthetics, the house exemplifies more of the Philippine modern aesthetic. Usually cost, material availability and weather will eventually change the Japanese intent of most owners. It is very expensive in the Philippines to build something considered as a middle-class design in Japan.
Love the deck area. Simple, cozy, practical yet still looks good👌
