- an animation made over the course of about two weeks that started as a test with my Bowser rig that snowballed wayyy out of what i originally envisioned. consider it a tribute to alphadream- i'm very happy how it turned out and i hope you do too! another funfact is this was originally a render i made yet i always wanted to do an animated version after messing with some of the animated textures in the scene.

@@elvampe13 hi! this was made entirely within blender including the compositing work- i just used premiere pro to put it all together. my specs are very overkill but i intend on doing some more heavy scenes in the future

Bowser's laughing animation is absolutely perfect. It capture's Bowser's characterization in the RPGs perfectly.
If I ever go and make a playtrough of Bowser's Inside Story, I really, really, REALLY want to use this clip for the final battle.

Man would have been cool if this game had a series or remake with this style and voice acting.
We have a paper Mario thousand year door remaster, and if they bring back the M&L series, I would vote for this style, besides the eyes of bowsers being a little odd when his pupils where behind his brows, this be sick to see

I think that would be an incredible thing but it’s probably unlikely. With Nintendo’s highly requested remakes of classic RPG’s I am confident that we will see another Mario and Luigi game within the next ten years or so, but it will probably be playing it safer as they would need to either make it themselves or hire a new developer now that AlphaDream is defunct. Voice acting could be a thing since Super Mario Bros. Wonder has more spoken dialogue than any other Mario game.

@@lavender317 Bowser doesnt really have a dedicated voice actor, there is no one you could ask for consent in that case. He basically only got five lines he says in sunshine, and that wasn't even the voice they use nowdays for all his "one-word-shouts". I could totally understand using an AI voice for him, as he doesn't have any.
That smirk at the end perfectly fits how satisfying it is to plant Bowser’s fist in the Dark Star’s face.

I love the confident bravado Bowser displays in this short animation. He is the real deal Koopa King, and whoever this Dark Bowser is... psh, he is nothing in comparison. He may have acted like Bowser, but he's not Bowser. Not in the slightest.
At the start of this animation (which happens after Dark Bowser summons this "great dark hurricane"), Bowser knows he's already won, he just has to actually do this; Tell this Dark Bowser "No, you" and follow through on his word (with the help of Mario, Luigi and Starlow).
And follow through he did. Without some deus ex machina, becoming Giant or some other bullshit. Nope. Bare. Hands.
I love his confident smile after Dark Bowser goes down. He doesn't even look in Dark Bowser's direction to know he's gone down and out. He is THE final boss and there's no way he's going to be pushed around by some cheap knockoff. The Koopa King does not falter in the face of mundane crap, or cheap knockoffs. The only ones allowed to defeat him are Mario and Luigi. No one else. And definitely not a cheap knockoff of himself either!

Okay... so, Amazing voice acting and animation, duh.
On Dark Bowser's end, I like the little detail of him almost caving in on himself for a second, as if still not fully reformed. His ethereal look is also top notch. As well as the voice acting, makes him feel emotionless, perfect for a dark god in his final hour.
On real Bowser's end, you truly captured his smug, overconfidant self with this, this is nothing more than a mere knock-off to him, he can take him.
Truly outstanding work from everyone involved. Bravo.🎉

I've played many games in my life but none have ever surpassed Bowsers Inside Story as my absolute favorite title. This animation just takes you back to what it felt like to reach that final boss for the very first time. Kinda like how Pokémon sprites look VS how it felt to play those games, an absolute spectacle.

This is amazing! I'm not really a good Mario Knower, but this feels like a final boss cutscene straight out of a Bowser spin-off game! The rendering is beautiful, the animation is lively, the voice actor is perfect, and while I don't understand the intricacies of the sound design, the team did an amazing job! Also, that fakeout with the credits was awesome.

This is downright gorgeous. It's so rare seeing the Mario & Luigi series getting much love with pieces like this. How you mimicked Bowser's laughing and his angry emotes perfectly. How Peach is lying down in some shots. And that title. "Showtime!" It's perfect. When you see Bowser and that word, you know something big is going down and you nailed it. Bravo my dude!
This is amazing! I honestly wasn’t expecting the ending, but I’m glad it was added in! Everything blended together beautifully, the emotions and animations from both Bowsers, the fact that you could see the wind hitting classic Bowser, and the voice acting was so good too!
Also a neat little detail was Dark Bowser glitching out because of him not having enough dark energy to hold himself together, I like how nicely that was added in during his dialogue!
I’ve imagined this scene animated this way for years and hoped I’d be able to see it someday (considering I don’t quite have that level of talent yet.) It’s so beautiful! Great job everyone. Show em who’s boss Bowser!
