Do I need a actually copy of the game to play or because I’m on pc I can just use the pc disc ?

Tried so many guides on TH-cam and spent hours looking at solutions for things. Ended up starting over all my files and using this video step by step and worked perfectly. Literally the only one that actually worked. Thank you so much lol

You download the patch and drag it into RSCP3 and it pretends to take, but all you get are crappy 3 year old rosters, you need to pay special attention to the folders, names of things, etc..... That was my problem. Thank you so much gladius. You are literally the one that helped after probably 12-20 hours of trying.

@@GladiusZ honestly you did a really nice job. Some of that PC stuff is just foreign to me for some reason. Next thing is to try and master the playoff tool I would love to get to the end of seasons and have playoffs if it's not glitchy but I see it on that one guy's TH-cam all the time.

@@abuckeye26 yeah that's the same as me and the guy that walked through the process a few weeks ago.. it's something to do with how you put the folders in files and what order.. when you borrow the game from your friend Vinn it comes in a folder within a folder within a folder .. that has to change in the name has to be exact or it doesn't patch the file correctly basically

how do you get the blus file
Perfect video for someone without a lot of computer experience trying to figure out how to play an updated version of their favorite game of all time. Been wanting to play this forever and I am so close.. followed all the steps, got the game up and running smoothly, but 95% of the teams are missing their new jerseys and the new fcs teams still show the old team logos and jerseys. Any idea what the reason for that could be and how to fix it?
For everyone that is having the issue of the game booting up the base version, i figured it out. The game download has to be named EXACTLY as he has here. That is what the revamped patch writes over so if its not exactly that it wont come in fully

I have my game file as BLUS31159-[NCAA Football 14] but it still boots up the base version, still super confused as to why, I've redownloaded and refreshed things like 3 times at this point

Hey Gladius. After I extract the files from rpcs3 and go in into the new version when I try to open rpcs3 it says system error and a couple of things were "not found".
You don’t have the BIOS file then, essentially a PS3 initialization/boot up file
I feel like a few steps were skipped here.

After I dropped the pkg file into the disc file it won't even load the base game into RPC23 it only shows the ps3 interface. Any help would be appreciated from anyone.

If you didn’t see exactly what he showed on screen then that means you are stuck on the base version, double check with the video here and what you are doing
Got it to work but is unplayable cuz the audio and controller constantly disconnect. Tried everything and have a top end PC.
What’s in the PS3_UPDATE folder? I had to create mine but not sure what goes in it. Mines like half done. Rosters but no graphical changes

I have a 360 copy of the disc. Will that work in the PS3 emulator or should I look for a 360 emulator?
everything worked fine until the last step of booting the game up and it would load halfway and then just crash. know what that’s about?

Pretty sure you add games in the emulator files go to the game select file make sure to zip it and choose that file and it will pop up.
Thanks for the help! I have the mod loaded and the correct icon appears in the emulator but the game is still NCAA 14. Any idea on how I can fix this? Thanks!
Edit: Some of the graphics are correct but the sytle hasn't changed and the intro is the same. Not sure about this lol

When I add the revamped to the game, it’s the same start up screen and not the new intro, I got new rosters but I need help getting the revamped right, and when I download it ncaa football early release pops up too

everytime the spu cache is finished my screen just goes black and dosent do anything keep note im on mac but my rspc3 looks exactly like his with the both ncaa and ps3 emulator there
(about 5 minutes after my screen went from black to starting ncaa and doing the ea sports in the game while it did the intro its still running really slow tho what should i do with the configuration to make it run as fast possible on my mac?

I followed step-by-step instructions; however, when I boot the game it launches the default NCAA 14 game rather than the Revamped version. The Icon PNG also says "College Football Revamped," yet like I said before, launches the original 2014 NCAA with the original intro and game base. Any suggestions?

BRO I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHY IT WOULDNT WORK LOL i kept downloading the psn version of the easy installer instead of the disc version.
4 some weird reason every time i download it, it says cfbr, instead of (NCAA 14 or BLUIS) and it doesn't work, i had the regular ncaa 14 but i tried to get the revamped version and now im stuck
Got everything downloaded and the game starts up fine but when I attempt to actually play a game I freeze in the loading screen every time. Anyone have a fix or know what’s causing this?
HELP! I follow the instructions and it only launches NCAA 14. The logo on the emulator start up says revamped, changed settings and everything. The loading screen at the beginning is that of REVAMPED but the game is the regular game

I was able to download everything. I’ll get all the way to where the teams run onto the field then my screen goes black. I can still hear it for like 10 seconds then it kicks me out and won’t open again makes me redownload everything and start over. Anything I’m doing wrong?

Feel like I followed this to the T but even after I run the patch my college football revamped in my rpcs3 library says revamped but the version is still 1.00. I'm stuck with regular NCAA 14 maybe with some slightly updated rosters
the only way that is caused is by missing a step or not having a file. Make sure you named the BLUS file the correct name
@GladiusZ this is one hundred percent of thing. But I went through after finding that detail still didn't apply. Trying to figure that out. I did fresh emulator, PS3 firmware, NCAA 14 into the emulator Library, erase games. Yl, rename ncaa14 the copy and pasted blue and numbers, go into the emulator drag the patch file, watch it tell me that it's doing version 21, the logos change, but the only thing that changes in the game are the rosters. If you're still sure it's something to do with that naming part I'll continue looking. Thanks for taking the time to check out some of these messages. Once I figure this out I'll try and keep my eye open for people with the same issue

@ColtonWillhite pay especially close attention to how he downloads everything and puts them in folders. Pause it and look at the order in which Things Are because on PC when you are in a folder you can see all the things you clicked on in order to get to that exact spot. Once I paid attention to that and copy and pasted the BLU title into the correct spot it was all good
