Good old Arfur on drums - Arfur Beatlate. (The drummer is crucial to an act like this, he wasn't watching - he missed so many bits!). Great to see and hear(!) Billy in action. Thanks for posting 😎
He and Barry Cryer starred in a 4-part BBC Radio series about the songwriting duo of R.P. Weston and Bert Lee, who composed hundreds of music-hall songs. The series also featured a chorus of 2 women and 2 men (one of whom was Dudley Stevens) from the Players Theatre.

Worked with him on a show in '70,s. All round fabulous entertainer, it was a privilege to work with him. Lovely off stage too. Taken too soon.
