Agreed. Ive come back to this more than once. Especially being a huge comedy fan in chronic daily pain. Sometimes I cant get to sleep. Putting this on in the background helps at least calm me down a little.
In the very first interview George Carlin always the smartest and engaging comedian, interrupted constantly by a spotlight hungry lesser wannabe. And the interview that starts at around 3:00 is the best George Carlin interview ever, thank you very much for the whole collection.
Hey man, I've been a relatively intensive student of George since 2012 and this is a good resource like Stu047 said. I finally figure out who 17 and 17.5 is, it's Daniel Lobell. Marc Maron credits him with the first comedian podcast "Comical Radio", but Marc Maron is not good at his job either, so take that for what it's worth (not much). The thing for me is, at the end of the day, George was a quick witted, substance abusing attitude problem. Comedians are dysfunctional people and George should have been rich but he didn't get out from under IRS debt until a couple years before he died. Sad but true.
preachers on television talk about obey the sapreme being above us it's useless info like this which prooves how worse things are another thing this proves is how organizations want every single person that worships to play follow the leader forever the is also showing terrible occurrences going on the general public will ignore we don't get our hands dirty not everyone I've got issues with this year too .
Holy shit!! That first caller; calling Bill Cosby progressive like Carlin... Even b4 the rape shit was known, that was a goofy BS thing to say. How about Dick Gregory....He, was progressive.
He was a legendary edgy comedian who was famous and established enough to discuss very dangerous subject matter that, for the record, is completely correct. Humans really have organized themselves poorly, and ironically the morally correct crowds give less of a shit about their fellow man and the Earth than George did. Fortunately for all of us, again, George was established at this point, so we got to see his best work, because the dim witted squares such as yourself were not his target audience anymore.
Oh my word, this is an impressive archive. Many thanks for sharing.

Wow, he likened comedy to spiritual warfare. Sweeet!
I'm just glad the era of giggling moron radio is more or less over now.
