We have had the driest summer around my place that I’ve seen in years, sure hope to get some rain soon. You might want to consider winter rye this fall, it does the best to build soil of anything I’ve seen. Enjoyed the video!
Hey there! I am new here! Love the spreader, and the more videos I watch the longer my tractor attachment "want" list gets longer lol Thanks for sharing this! The scenery is beautiful!
Looks good. We have been dealing with poor soil as well. Buckwheat was also suggested but make sure you get to it before it goes to seed (right after flower) or that could become a new weed issue.
Nice job! The 3-point spreader works great. I was also impressed with the hand-held version. You got your steps in for the day on that one! #purplecollarlife
Have you ever tried to sow buckwheat on untouched ground? Does it push through dead weeds etc that is already there? I am considering my options for replacing wild raspberry on my cabin lot without having to open the whole earth for it. I don't feel like buying a tilling machine or breaking the ground too much because it is close to a well and I want to protect the water from catching humus.
no complaints yet. Actually really impressed with the battery life. I think its at like 59% still since I installed it. I thought I'd have to take it down more often to recharge it.
Never planted Buckwheat, we have some land here we just cleared, In our video called “Thistle Destruction “ we just want to plant some Fruit Trees🚜🪵👍🏼🇱🇷
Wow that tiller did a great job.Looking good Phil
Thanks 👍

I've been warned of that too. That's why I mowed down and tilled in the previous crop.

How about a rye crop over the winter (winter wheat) then till in down in the spring.
Hey Larry - I'll probably do rye mixed with clover or some other legume to act as a nitrogen fixer.
Did you ever test the soil again to see uf the buckwheat did improve it?

I have and you will get some germination. If you're able to seed and then mow, the cuttings provide good cover which will improve germination rate.
Phil tried to catch the fertilizer values when you dumped them, but they didn't show. What fertilizer are you using?
Did u cultipack after spreading th BW SEED?
Nice going Phil, how do you like your Wyze camera so far?

Good deal. I hear fruit trees can be tricky to grow.
