Another great video. Impressed at how well you do these and how fast you produce them. We sailed that coast and it was brilliant, brings back memories.
Aloha from Hawaii. Love the new boat and videos of greatcircle. Cant wait to see it Tricked out with new gear... Ive saved enough for one just waiting on my kids to grow up a little more... keep up the great work, always puts me in a good mood to see your videos..
Congratulations on the new boat. My wife and I have really enjoyed your sailing videos so far. It's nice that you've added the commentary into them and balanced the aerial and ground footage. I noticed that you said your anchor failed to set and I believe it's a Delta. A suggestion is to either replace it immediately or be prepared to drag your anchor all the time until you reach the Caribbean. I almost lost Palarran twice due to a Delta. We may cross paths this summer. I'm heading from Greece out to the Canaries. Good luck
We liked the 39 a lot too. Nothing wrong with that model, we enjoyed it a lot last year in Norway. Go back to the 39 is probably not an option for us as we are spoiled by all the space and comfort on the 52. In terms of sailing the 52 seems somewhat more stable. Partially because of increased length, beam and weight, but there was enough room to improve the weight balance compared to the 39. On engines the perfomance of the 39 was relatively better as double the HP apparently doesn't compensate for double the weight. We were upfront a bit afraid of handling the 52 (just the 2 of us most of the times), but until now we did not experience a lot of difference compared to the 39.

Thanks! Our anchor is a Spade if I am not mistaking, also used on the larger Lagoons. Seems fine in general.
@@CatGreatcircle Hello Greatcircle. I'm wondering, after two years did you finally replace that spade or Delta anchor?
It’s a 30 kg Spade and it works perfectly fine. We’re on anchor 99% of the time
geweldig, ik zie mijn droom. :)
Between the 39 & 52, what are the main differences besides size? Would you go back to the 39 ?
