  • Dr Rania Awaad recounts her ground-breaking discovery in the field of Modern Psychology. Dr Rania challenges the narrative of "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder", or OCD, a modern disorder long held to be diagnosed in the 19th Century. She recounts her studies of Imam Abu Zayd Al-Balkhi, a 9th Century Persian Muslim polymath.
Rania Awaad, M.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine where she is the Director of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab as well Stanford University's Affiliate Chaplain.

      Interesting!
For centuries people in the world discovered, invented and developed machines, devices, techniques and schools of logical and scientific thoughts, but non of them were pitched to their religions.
Suddenly a woman found a passage about psychology writen by a person which was living in a Muslim controlled country and promptly declared it as Islamic achievement , and now all trying to find or make narrative and hadeth about psychology in early islam. Soon Quran will be declared as the important book of psychology. !!!!
      Hahaha. What a big misleading?

Except, they were Not Muslim scholars. Muslims have contributed very LITTLE to the progress in society. Look at their own Muslim countries?
It is the Satanic Agenda of the Freemasons/Shriners to promote Islam in the West, as it is the religion of the NWO/Antichrist.
Also, The so called Muslim scholars were Forced "converts" from Judaism , Christianity, Hinduism and Zoroastrianism , who were FORCED to either publicly convert to Islam or Die. In this way, the Ottomans and islamic empires before them were able to start to build up their desert civilisations....
Do you really BELIEVE that something like PSYCHOLOGY is promoted in Islamic countries? 😅😅 Please. Psychology is predominantly a Jewish field... Encouraged by the Je w, Sigmund Freud.
I don't see Muslim countries thriving in anything, really. They're just LUCKY to have vast oil supplies so that they can hire the BEST Western or East-Asian architects and engineers to build their Dubai buildings for them.

The same ka-Baal-ah that created Islam is the same ka-Baal-ah that is now promoting Islam to the West, starting in the schools. It is the religion of the Antichrist. All these Shriner/Freemasons value the Qur'an because it is a branch off their satanic ka-Baal

@@chehrazadeesmey8399 lets not try and be passive aggressive on the mention of other languages. We cannot allow language to a barrier between the passing on of knowledge. Arabic, as you are implying, is not a backwards language that needs to be translated from. you should know that arabic has many different types, and our scholarly books contain the classical arabic, not the arabic spoken today. And there are still many people who do not have fluency in the English language. Let us not gatekeep such vital information from them by not translating. Allah is dead in grave with his fake prophet !
God has informed us that the penalty of sin is spiritual death and separation from God in a place of judgment called hell: “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Jesus clearly taught that sinners being condemned in sin and would perish, go to hell if they didn't believe in Him as their Savior (John 3:16-18).
Jesus said that He was sent into the world not to condemn sinners but to save them from condemnation: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that world through Him might be SAVED.” This is how a sinner is saved from sin’s penalty of condemnation. The apostle Paul declared in Ephesians 2:1-6 that every sinner is spiritually dead in trespasses and sins but God in His mercy and grace has provided a way to escape sin’s condemnation. Salvation and deliverance from sin’s penalty has been provided thrugh Christ. This deliverance is called the ‘GOSPEL” in the New Testament. The word literally means the proclamation of “good news.” The apostle Paul clearly discusses the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. The gospel is good news because it saves a sinner from sin’s condemnation.
Salvation is a gift of grace and is received by believing the gospel. The gospel, when believed, “is the power of God to Salvation for every one who believes.” (Romans 1:16).
Repent of your sins believe in gospel and you will be saved ! Amen

Islam spread fast and ferociously. The Arabs tried to replace many cultures, languages, and religions to Arabic culture, language, and of course Islam. At that time the literary people were not allowed to write in Farsi; therefore, scholars, poets, scientists wrote in Arabic. For that reason many choose to take the name of their birth place as their last name, if not they mentioned in their writings. Rumi in his poetry wrote (Balkhiyam Balkhiyam) I’m from Balkh. I’m from Balkh.

    That's very true!
As an arabian muslim and a medical student, when I have mental issues, the first thing I would think of is Qur'an, and of course, the rich Islamic history as the books of Imam Ibn Qayyen for example

The concept of receiving a degree comes from Islam and is associated with getting a degree from a set curriculum, said Glen Cooper, BYU history professor. The ceremony, in Islamic tradition, is vindication of knowledge that licenses one to teach what one has learned.
The first university in Europe was established by Muslims in the year 841, in the city of Salerno (Italy). It was an extension of the Muslim universities in the east. Then, the universities in Toledo, Seville, and Granada were opened.
Fatima al-Fihri was a Muslim WOMAN from Tunisia who founded the first known university more than 1,000 years ago: the University of al-Qarawiyyin in Fez, Morocco. Guinness World Records acknowledges it as the oldest existing and continually operating educational institution in the world.
